Issue #6 is a powerful manifesto championing the rights, dignity, and respect of those who identify as fat, plus-size, voluptuous, gorditx, full-figured, chubby, or thick. This zine argues that fat folks have always existed, challenges the negative connotation of "fat," explores the roots of fatphobia linked to colonialism & patriarchy, and critiques the co-optation of body positivity that undermines the radical vision of fat liberation. “Fat Liberation” is a call to action against fatphobia that invites everyone to reclaim their power in a society hell-bent on dehumanizing us, while amplifying a transformative movement that envisions a more inclusive and accepting world for all.
