We need to know the measurements for the pivot centres, this should be done in inches. We can start from the centre of the hoist base pin to the back of the body hinge pin then you’ll use the centre number.

HOIST STROKE

Where pivot centres & angle of tip are known, use the formular below.

ANGLE = PIVOT CENTRES X .68 = HOIST STROKE

ANGLE = PIVOT CENTRES X .76 = HOIST STROKE

ANGLE = PIVOT CENTRES X .80 = HOIST STROKE
