Welcome This year we’ve achieved phenomenal success on the greens around the globe, picking up gold in a series of major events on every continent, so a massive thanks to each and every one for supporting our product. A special mention must be made to our team of sponsored players who took out three titles at Potters, all using our ACE model. At 56, Andy Thomson proved once again that age is no barrier in our sport, becoming the oldest player to win the world indoor singles title and bridging a 17 year gap since his back to back wins in the 90’s at Preston Guild Hall, while Darren Burnett and David Gourlay bowed out in the semis. Queen of the Greens Karen Murphy also showed her class with a battling win to lift the Ladies World Match play title while the irreproachable Gourlay walked off with the World Mixed Pairs title for the third time in five years, this time in partnership with Debbie Stavrou.

With an eye on the future, we’ve also taken control of our Australian arm of Taylor Bowls, setting up a new warehousing and office facility on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. As we now service two of the biggest bowls markets, this will enable us to strike better deals with our suppliers, for you the end user. During 2011 Bowls England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales changed the rules regarding colour clothing. The ruling now indicates that clothing must be predominately white thus allowing players to add a touch of colour to their playing gear. This, along with the changes in Australia that I have already mentioned, Taylor's will be able to offer Aussie style clothing, the first of these being the "Wave" shirt that you can see on page 18.

FLEXI-DRI WATERPROOFS The latest ‘must haves’ for any bowler, our range of waterproofs is smart, sporty, practical and comfortable. This wet weather gear is engineered from a technologically advanced, breathable, lightweight, windproof material with a clever elastane influence for greater mobility particularly around the arm and leg areas. With taped seams and stretch mesh lining the waterproofs offer a comfortable, flexible fit for a smooth, non restrictive delivery. UNIQUE to our garments is the introduction of a mid grey coloured panelling on the inside of the collar, the side panels and underarm area – traditionally the worst areas for the garments soiling.
