MAYOR REED GUSCIORA VISIT MT. CARMEL GUILD

Mt. Carmel Guild welcomed the 49th Mayor of the City of Trenton to its offices on March 17 during an impromptu visit, which included a tour of the entity's 103 year old buildings. The tour, which also had members of the Mayor's team was led by Mary Inkrot, Executive Director of the Guild along with Daren Miller, Director of External Affairs.

Among the areas visited were the food pantry and administrative offices for which the Mayor offered commendations.

"The Guild is doing everything we can to ensure our work continues," said Miller "Part of that involves attention to critical infrastructure that must remain fit and proper, in order to meet the requirements of our neighbors in need "

He added that between 600-650 households benefit from the Guild's food pantry per month and that its accredited Home Health Nursing Program is assisting numerous homebound individuals 60 years and older, lead a better quality of life with the help of registered nurses.
