DRAGON LORE. 7 TRADITIONS UNIQUE TO MINNESOTA STATE MOORHEAD Witness a dragon breathe fire on the campus mall. The two-headed dragon statue was originally outside a Chinese restaurant near Minneapolis. Get loud at Noize Night. Cheer on Dragons Basketball at the rowdiest game of the year. Noize Night blows the roof off Nemzek Fieldhouse, thanks to special effects, music, entertainment, prizes, scholarship giveaways, and more. Attend a performance in Weld Hall. The oldest building on campus recently underwent a $23 million renovation, restoring its status as the premier place in Moorhead to experience a fine arts performance. Battle fellow students in canoes in an indoor pool. Battleship H2O is one of the most popular events each year. Ride the Dragon Express! This street-legal locomotive can go up to 80 mph. Be part of the Burning of the M. Watch the large letter M go up into flames during Homecoming. Eat free chili. The Deans’ Chili Feed is a campus staple each fall. Vote for your favorite!
