Join Dr. Andrew McAninch, associate professor of philosophy, for a discussion on the ethical challenges posed by artificial intelligence, particularly generative models like ChatGPT. The session will cover issues such as truth and reliability, data privacy and the outsourcing of human judgment. Through case studies, participants will explore the implications for engineers and business leaders, learning to apply ethical principles responsibly. George Kroeninger, executive director of professional education, will introduce the session and discuss MSOE’s Center for Professional Education offerings. Free
