Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) is a small university dedicated to achieving big things. Caspian Cyber Security Lab allows students to conduct real-world cyber security experiments and test defensive mechanisms in a professional and controlled environment.

ROSIE THE SUPERCOMPUTER
Unique to MSOE, undergraduate students have access to a GPU-powered supercomputer named Rosie. New upgrades allow Rosie to deliver the scale demanded to meet the massive computing requirements of generative A.I. including large language models, recommender systems, health care research and climate science. UNDERGRADUATE OPPORTUNITIES
At most universities, only graduate students have access to supercomputers. At MSOE, undergraduate students have access to Rosie as early as their second year. Students utilize Rosie for both class projects and extracurricular projects. Rosie’s high-performance computing empowers students to take their projects to the next level and provide data in a matter of minutes.

LIVING AT MSOE
Campus life and living at MSOE are as much a part of the learning experience as any class or lab. Nearly 80% of freshmen and sophomores reside in one of MSOE’s co-ed residence halls. MSOE has three traditional residence halls, plus an apartment-style residence hall. • • • •

GET TO WORK
Students are able to obtain internships and co-ops during their time at MSOE. Both internships and co-ops enable you to use your new skills and work with experienced professionals to solve real industry problems. Typically, 80–85% of MSOE students have one or more internships while at school. MSOE hosts an annual Career Fair with more than 400 employers offering internships, co-ops and full-time positions. Internships typically occur during the summer but can also be offered part-time during the school year. A co-op is a full-time (40 hours per week) job occurring during a semester and an adjacent summer with a commitment of 16 weeks per semester and 10 weeks per summer.
