Dear Red Angus Enthusiasts, We would like to thank you again for your interest in our program. Once again we are offering a large group of age-advantaged bulls, as well as large sire groups, so our customers can purchase more uniform and mature bulls. We are also proud to offer a stout set of 2yr old bulls from our partners and friends, Rick, Holly, Chad, Wade and Nevada Lee from Idaho.

This year’s offering features large sire groups of bulls by 5L Blockade 221830B, 9 Mile Franchise 6305, Badlands Cinched, 5L Out In Front, and U2 Malbec, a new outcross sire from Canada. For the first time we are also offering a very special group of registered bred females all due to calve in March to TJS Road Block and 5L Like a Boss, plus 50 head of commercial bred heifers all due in March to Road Block. - Not much can be said about this stud, because what you see is what you get! What a powerhouse... he could be the best bull we’ve ever raised. He got his name because he was at the gate to greet us every time we visited the lot this winter. Don’t worry... he is not hard to find!

- His dam, Larkaba B137, by no surprise is a daughter of our foundation sire, Berry Cherry.

Although is took too much time for the system to recognize his genetic prowess, Berry will still go down as the single most influential sire on this outfit.

- His sire, Badland Cinched, has been our #1 carcass scan bull now for three years in a row, but due to the fact that the RAAA can’t use our scan data on older bulls, his EPDs don’t reflect this.

- Bordeaux is the first of two 3/4 brothers sired by U-2 Malbec and out of Right Kind dams, and you will not find two stouter made, big topped bulls! They have such a low center of gravity that they look more moderate than they really are. Bordeaux posted an awesome record, with an 82 BW and a 724 AWW with a 115 WR! - His dam, Countess A144, combines two of our breed favorites with Right Kind and Berry Cherry. In ‘15, her Pledge daughter was one of our best, posting a 123 WR. - His sire, U-2 Malbec 195D, is an outcross sire from the U-2 program in Canada that just had a record setting dispersal sale this fall. He was selected by Genex in their ‘17 sale for $46,000.

- Cedar Block is just what we’ve come to expect from his breed impact sire, 5L Blockade... this guy is a high performing, attractive bull with carcass traits coming out of his ears!

- His dam, Red Cedar C083, is campaigning to be one of the top producers in the herd, earning a 106 MPPA on her first two calves. She is sired by VGW Enhancer 378, the powerful Nebula P707 x Future Direction bred bull we picked up at Westphal’s back in ‘14.

- Blockade is one of those bulls that everybody should try, unfortunately we lost him at an early age and little semen is available. His calves are born with tops on them and at a week of age, his sons already look like miniature herdbulls!

- Butcher Block is as stout as you can make one, and he has all the right pieces in all the right places. He started out with only a 79 BW, but went on to post an impressive 735 AWW and 113 WR. It is not hard to see that he is full of red meat, and his 20.4 in. REA confirms it.

SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS 1.BIDDING The Auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.

2.TERMS Terms of sale are cash unless satisfactory credit arrangements have been made with Sale Management prior to sale.

3.PURCHASER’S RISK Each animal becomes the risk of the Buyer as soon as sold, but it shall be the obligation of the Seller to see that animals are fed and cared for free of charge to Buyer, until loaded for shipment or until the expiration of 48 hours after the sale, whichever occurs sooner.

4. HEALTH All animals are eligible for interstate shipment, except as otherwise announced. Interstate health papers will be furnished for each animal requiring tuberculosis and brucellosis tests in accordance with Federal Regulations.

5.ANNOUNCEMENTS Any changes from information of any kind in this catalog will be announced from the auction box and such announcements shall take precedence.

6. DEFAULT In the event the Buyer defaults on payment, the Buyer shall be responsible for all costs, including attorney’s costs, incurred by Sale Management or Seller in connection with collecting, or attempting to collect, payment due.

7. BREEDING GUARANTEE All animals are guaranteed by the seller as outlined in the Red Angus Association of America Code of Ethical Sale Practices.

8. CONTRACT The above terms and conditions of sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller of each animal and shall be equally binding upon both. Each sale or resale of an animal constitutes a seperate transaction.

9. LIABILITIES All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. The seller, the sale manager, and the auction facility assume no liability for accidents that may occur. It is to be clearly understood that the sale manager and their representatives act only as a medium between the buyer and seller.
