The perfect wedding starts with a complete ceremony rehearsal.

Prior to your wedding day, our Award Winning Wedding Coordinators walk you through every step of your event – literally! From arrival, to completing set up, to a run-through of the full ceremony, we cover it all.

Private Ceremony Sites

THE LODGE – Amidst the whispering pines, our breathtaking outdoor ceremony site features perfectly manicured lawns, babbling mountain stream, handcrafted wooden pergola, elegant chairs, and romantic views of our tranquil pond and antique red barn. Perfectly private, with the exception of a few wildlife visitors, your ceremony is all yours!

THE LAKE – Nestled along the shores of our mile-long spring-fed lake as your backdrop, Boat Row is the ideal ceremony setting for those who dream of a lakeside wedding. Showcasing our charming docks, natural lush surroundings and shimmering water with reflections of big Pocono, this idyllic landscape provides a stunning panorama for those who want to say “I do” at water’s edge.

Elegant chairs, bottled water and strolling champagne are provided.

Alternate Ceremony Site

Sometimes it rains. Sometimes it’s cold. We are always prepared for Mother Nature. In the event of inclement weather, our team will seamlessly move your ceremony indoors. Our beautiful windows, open floor plan, and natural lighting bring the outdoors in.

Carriage House

The Lodge ceremony package includes exclusive use of our on-site Carriage House for your entire wedding day. This well-appointed space boasts salon and make-up chairs, natural light, full length mirrors, and a wardrobe for your gowns – everything you and your attendants need.

Invite your favorite hair or make-up professionals! Relax and enjoy complimentary champagne, refreshments and snacks as you prepare for your special day.

Gathering Suite

Our Gathering Suite is located upstairs in the Historic section of The Lodge. Prepare for the day with complimentary chilled brew, refreshments, and snacks.

Comfortably appointed with leather chairs, ample lounging space, and more than enough room – just perfect to relax and get ready.

First Reveal and More

Your photographer is welcome on property all day. Whatever portraits you have planned, be confident that Mountain Springs Lake has the perfect backdrop for all your photo memories. A “First Reveal”, before the ceremony, is a perfect way to enjoy every moment of your reception!

Classic Décor The Verandah is complete with an inviting granite bar, parquet dance floor, baby grand player piano, cathedral ceilings, “walls of windows” and a neutral palette to complement any theme from simple elegance to rustic chic. Choose from over twenty specialty colors for your complimentary floor length linen and napkins. The Lodge signature flatware, ivory china, elegant candle-lit centerpieces and our signature hand-crafted chairs from Duckloe Brothers of Portland are all included.

Cocktail Courtyard On the south lawn, our cocktail courtyard is complete with bistro and cocktail tables – full length linen included.

Immediately following your ceremony, guests will be greeted with a stunning variety of delicious and artistically displayed hors d’oeuvres as well as our butlered wine, champagne and signature cocktail service.

A secondary outdoor cocktail hour bar featuring beer, wine and champagne is complimentary with 150 or more guests.

The Orchard Tucked away in the northwest woods of Mountain Springs Lake Resort, The Orchard is an exclusive outdoor gathering space just perfect for welcome events, after parties or rehearsal dinners. The 1100 square foot wooden fence surrounds our handcrafted stone fire pit with Adirondack chairs, a covered pavilion with picnic table seating for 65 - all handcrafted by Ben Rader, fourth generation of the Rader family. $1750 Rental includes a beautiful covered pavilion with Edison bulb overhead lighting, hand crafted picnic table seating, rustic stone fire pit with plenty of firewood, classic Adirondack chairs, perimeter lighting & portable restrooms.

History of Mountain Springs Lake Over 75 years ago a twelve year old boy named Jack and his friend were hiking to the top of Big Pocono. On their way, they discovered a jewel of a lake in one of the most spectacular mountain settings in Northeastern Pennsylvania. That jewel would become Mountain Springs Lake Resort.

Charming cottages and winding country roads now grace the 325 woodland acres and pristine shores of the mile long spring-fed lake. The standard of quality established over 60 years ago by Jack and Marjorie Rader continues today as their children and grandchildren join them in preserving a proud family tradition.
