CREATIVE TEAM

Joe Tracz is a writer whose work has been seen on Broadway in Be More Chill (with Joe Iconis) and The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (with Rob Rokicki; Drama Desk nominee for Outstanding Book). Other credits include the musical Poster Boy (with Craig Carnelia, Williamstown Theatre Festival). TV: Netflix’s Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (Peabody Award recipient; Emmy, Humanitas Prize, and WGA Award nominee) and Dash & Lily, which premiered on Netflix in 2020.

Joe is an alumnus of the Ars Nova Play Group and a former Playwrights Realm writing fellow. He has an BA from Kalamazoo College and an MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Rob Rokicki is a composer and lyricist whose work has been recognized worldwide and nominated for Drama Desk, Lortel and Off-Broadway Alliance awards. Rob’s work, which “lives at the perfect intersection of musical theatre and radio rock,” is regularly featured in cabarets and concerts throughout the world. He is a twotime Larson Award finalist, alum of the BMI writing workshop, and member of the Dramatists’ Guild. He holds a BFA and BA from the University of Michigan. Albums include: The Original Cast Recording, Deluxe Release, Karaoke and Vinyl editions of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical; Monstersongs World Premiere Recording; So Much To Say: Songs for Everytown; and I’m Ready: The Songs of Rob Rokicki (all available on Broadway Records). He self-released an EP of his musical Experience Marianas, along with Smart Girls, which supports the organization She’s the First.

CAST

Lucy Abruzzo (Janis Joplin/Fury) is a Junior, and so excited to be back for her 4th theatrical production at MSJ. Some recent previous roles include: Megan Jones (Puffs), and Silly Girl 3/Ensemble (Beauty & the Beast), and she will be in SPT’s “The Sound of Music” this summer as Sr. Berthe. She would like to thank the cast and all the wonderful people involved with the show for making this a great experience :)

Nathan Aisquith (Hades) is a freshman and thrilled to be in his second MSJ production. Recent Credits: Puffs (Wayne), Seussical (Cat in the Hat), The Wizard of Oz (Cowardly Lion). He would like to thank and send love to his parents, brothers, extended family and friends for their constant support and enthusiasm.

Caleb Bennett (Vienna Choir Boy) is a sophomore at MSJ. He is very excited to be in his first theatrical performance ever. He'd like to thank his friends, mainly Jace Tyler and Nate for convincing him to finally join theatre.

Elinor Bower (Katie Gardener) is excited to be a part of The Lightning Thief. Some of her previous favorite past roles have included Sara Crewe (A Little Princess), Lauren (Circle Mirror Transformation), Kaylee (The Prom), and Polynesia (Dr. Dolittle). She would like to thank her mother, and the parents of other cast members, for driving her back and forth from rehearsals, as well as her director, choreographer, and music director, for helping the show come together into an amazing story! Remember, it's okay to be different, because normal is a myth! And now it's time you heard our side of the story! Enjoy!

Emma Brady (Clarisse) is a sophomore at Mount de Sales. She is delighted to share with you her second MSJ production. Her past shows include: Newsies (Crutchie), Annie (Duffy), Addams Family, and Peter Pan (Slightly). She would like to thank Mrs. Kim Flater for driving her home from rehearsal (and her mom of course). She hopes you all enjoy the show. Remember, if you don't, she'll make sure to put you in your place!

Averi Cain (Annabeth) is a junior at Mount de Sales. She is thrilled to be performing with such a talented cast and crew. Her previous roles include Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar, Frenchy in Grease, and Veronica in Heathers. She would like to thank her friends and family for the continuous support, along with the support from Mr. Hartsfield. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Matthew Carnevale (Farmer) is a freshman and very excited to be in his second MSJ production and fourth acting experience. Recent Credits: Puffs (Hannah/ First Headmaster/ Professor McG/ Professor Sprouty/ Professor Lanny/ Runes Teacher/ Ms. Babble/ Death Buddy), Macbeth (King Duncan), and ELF (Buddy). He thanks all of his family and friends for their encouragement and always cheering him on.

Maria Danchik (Newscaster) is a junior at Mount de Sales and is thrilled to be in her first MSJ production. In the past, she has helped with props at Mount de Sales for four productions: “Wizard of Oz”, “Annie”, “Alice in Wonderland”, and “Peter Pan”. Even though she acted in “Alice in Wonderland” as the courtier. This is her first time acting in a musical. She is very excited to perform and hopes you enjoy the show.

Brigid Donahue (Grey Hound Passenger) is happy to be in her second MSJ production. Previously in Addams family, she is exited to be back with the cast, goofing off, and making memories. She is eternally grateful for the support and slight teasing from her family and friends. Brigid congratulates anyone who has gotten this far reading and not fallen asleep.

Katie Doran (Squirrel) is a junior at Archbishop Spalding and is thrilled to be in her first show at MSJ. You may have seen her recently in Puffs, the Archbishop Spalding production of Twelve Angry Jurors (Guard), as well as their production of Anything Goes (Ensemble). She is very excited for her second production with MSJ and hopes you all enjoy the show!

Martin Edell (Train Conductor) is a junior at MSJ and is looking forward to his second show on stage here at the Mount, after playing Oliver in Puffs in the fall and working stage crew for The Addams Family last spring. He is thrilled to be working with this great cast and crew.

Ryan Emery (Gabe) is a junior and excited to be working on The Lightning Thief with this amazing cast and crew. Ryan would like to thank everyone for coming and hopes you will enjoy the show.

Addison Flater (Silena) is a senior at Mount de Sales. She loves theatre and this is her third show at Mount Saint Joe. She would like to thank all the people who made the show possible. Enjoy the show!

Weston Flater (Luke) is a freshman at MSJ. He is very excited to be making his MSJ debut in this production of The Lightning Thief. He is grateful for this opportunity to share the stage with his sister Addison. Weston sends thanks and love to all his family for their support!

Harison Flowers (James Brown) is a junior and excited to be in his third Mount Saint Joseph production. He sends his love and appreciation to his family and friends for their constant and unwavering support. A special thanks goes to his mom, dad, and brother.

Uriah Fluker (Cylops/Minotaur/DJ Cerberus) is a senior at Mount Saint Joseph and is grateful for the chance to once again be on the stage. He sends thanks to the cast, crew, production team, and his family.

Eason Gaba (Grover) is a freshman and is stoked to participate in his first Mount Saint Joseph production. Recent Credits: Seussical(Mr. Mayor) and Wizard of Oz(Coroner) He wants to thank crew and staff for being so welcoming in his first major role.

Ben Horman (Vienna Choir Boy) is a first-year student at MSJ and is making his debut appearance in this production. As an actor and writer, Ben competed in short play competitions throughout middle school. Recent credits: Prom. He would like to thank everyone for their dedication to the show.

Eli Horman (Kurt Cobain/Grey Hound Passenger) is a current junior at MSJ and is excited to be making his school debut. Recent credits: Prom (Sheldon). He thanks the cast, crew, and family for their support throughout this process.

Georgia Kelley (Sally) is a junior at Mount de Sales Academy. Her favorite roles include Dragon in Shrek, Summer in School of Rock, and Maggie in The Man Who Came to Dinner. She is so excited to be in this production!

Carly Levender (Chifon), a sophomore at Mount de Sales Academy, is thrilled to be in her second Mount Saint Joseph theatrical production. Carly’s recent shows and roles include The Addams Family (Wednesday), Willy Wonka (Violet), A Christmas Story (Esther Jane), and Emma; The Pop Musical (Weston). Carly thanks Mr. Hartsfield, the entire production team, our wonderful cast and crew, and her family and friends for everyone’s support and amazing contributions. Enjoy the show!

Robert Linthicum (Aries) is a senior at Mt St Joseph. He has made many appearances on the MSJ stage over his four years: Poe, The Addams Family, Puffs. He is grateful for the opportunities that the program has given him. He would like to thank his family and friends for the community that ha helped shape him into the person he is today.

Mayah Lohrmann (Thalia) is a sophomore at Mount de Sales Academy and is very excited to be in her first Mount Saint Joseph production. Recent Credits include Saint Gabriel Miracle Player's Annie (Annie), Oliver Twist (Oliver Twist), Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Ensemble), and A Christmas Story (Helen). She would like to thank all her family and friends for their love and support, especially her parents for driving her all over the place.

Abigail Nelson (Oracle, Auntie M/Medusa) is thrilled to be in her 3rd show at MSJ. You might have seen her on stage in The Addams Family (Ancestor) and Shrek (Ensemble) at MSJ or in the Pit Band at MDSA in Peter Pan, Annie, The Wizard of Oz, Little Women. She would like to thank the entire production team for all their hard work on this production and her family for their constant support.

Ben Parsons (Bus Driver) is a junior who's recently moved from stage crew to cast and is having a great time in his second Mount Saint Joseph production. Recent productions: Adventures of a Comic Book Artist, and Puffs. He sends love to his family and friends for their constant support.

Hans Raven (Chiron) is a senior at MSJ, and quite excited to be wheeling around at the speed of sound…again. Recent shows include Peter Pan (Mr Darling), The Addams Family (Lurch), and Annie (FDR). When not busy acting, biking, or with schoolwork, Hans enjoys arranging music for personal use, writing poems, short stories, and novellas, or developing video games. Despite the mythological inaccuracies in this show, he’s excited to go out with a bang in his final appearance at MSJ.

Buck Rogers (Vienna Choir Boy) is a freshman at Mount Saint High School. He acted in middle school. He broadcasts MSJ Varsity sports. He would like to thank his parents for sacrificing their time.

Josie Russo (Mrs. Dodds) is a Mt de Sales Academy senior. As a member of the varsity dance team, she is excited to continue exploring the art of performance here at Mt St Joseph. She is grateful for the experience and all the support she received along the way.

Will Southern (Poseidon/Mozart) is a freshman at MSJ. He loves participating in theatre and most recently performed in Mount DeSales’ production of Peter Pan this fall. He is also a member of the MSJ Mountain Biking team, Pep Band, and ACE. Will would like to thank the directors for all their hard work in making this show possible, as well as his fellow cast and crew.

CAST

Jace Taranto (Mr. D) is a sophomore performing in his second production at his school, MSJ. He’s very excited to scream your faces off as he yearns for his wine to come back, whilst being annoyed by those half-bloods. Recently, you might have seen him as Pugsley (Addams Family) or Smee (Peter Pan). He sends all his love to his cast/crew/bandmates, family, and very close friends for the constant support. A special thanks goes out to his acting coach, Jon Matteson, for helping him find who Mr D is. Here’s to four great shows!

Maggie Williams (Bianca) is a Sophomore at Mount de Sales Academy. She is thrilled to be in her first Mount Saint Joseph production. Her favorite previous roles include Bielke in Fiddler on the Roof, Mayzie in Seussical, and Molly in Annie. She would like to thank her parents and her brother for having to listen to her singing all the time.

Tyler Wisniewski (Percy Jackson) is a sophomore at Mount Saint Joseph and has been doing theater since the end of freshman year. His previous roles include an ancestor in MSJ’s Addams Family, and a pirate ensemble for Mount de Sales’s Peter Pan. While doing Peter Pan, he simultaneously worked in the cast of MSJ’s Puffs as J. Finch(and some other characters;) Percy Jackson isn’t all that he’s been doing either. He’s been hard at work with Sound of Music as a Von Trapp child with his community theater. Tyler would like to give thanks to his family, girlfriend, and school friends for the support they’ve put into this show! He gives special gratitude to the first-timers and seniors in this musical. Choir and Acappella have prepped him very well for this role alongside taking theater classes throughout the year. This has been Tyler’s best year yet and he can’t wait to end it with a bang!
