LIMITLESS LEARNING AND CONNECTIONS

The co-curricular space at the Mount is where students discover their courage to pursue unique interests, build community through shared passions, and develop the confidence that comes from deep belonging and authentic leadership.

Through 27 mission-driven campus organizations, 20 dynamic clubs, and 8 dedicated service teams, Mounties don’t just participate—they lead. With over 130 leadership positions available and 90%+ student participation, every Mount woman finds her place to shine while discovering gifts and talents she never knew she had.

From drop-in clubs that welcome all interests to structured organizations that create school-wide impact, students engage with their passions far beyond the boundaries of the physical campus. Whether they’re launching social justice initiatives, competing in robotics, leading worship, or organizing community service projects, they’re broadening perspectives, making valuable connections, and learning that leadership isn’t just a title—it’s a way of being in the world.

Our Service Teams exemplify this transformative approach, empowering students to serve without distinction while educating themselves and others about justice as agents of transformation. Through weekly commitment to skills development, justice advocacy, and faith growth, students discover that the most powerful learning happens when you’re making a difference in the lives of others.

At the Mount, co-curricular involvement means more than resume-building—it means finding your voice, testing your wings, and discovering that when you combine passion with purpose, you become unstoppable.

The Campanile Newspaper

The Campanile is Mount’s student-run digital news platform where aspiring journalists learn to tell stories that matter. Open to students from all grades, The Campanile challenges young women to write with courage, conviction, and compassion—developing both their voices and their commitment to truth through covering school events, investigating important issues, and sharing student perspectives.

Firebirds Robotics Team

The Mount’s Firebirds (FIRST team #433) are the longest-running FIRST all-girls team in the world and only the second all-girls FIRST team ever founded. In spring 2023, they made Mount history by winning against 34 teams from across PA, NJ, and Delaware—their first top prize in 23 years.

Students gain hands-on experience designing, building, programming, and coding functioning robots while developing the confidence to tackle complex engineering challenges. As part of FIRST’s mission to create a world where everyone has access to STEM experiences, Firebirds don’t just learn robotics—they pioneer it.

Mount Musical

Every fall, the Mount stage comes alive with intricate, impressive productions performed to sold-out audiences. Led by experienced faculty in music and arts, the annual musical offers students passionate about performing arts the chance to discover their courage on stage and build community with fellow artists. From leading roles to ensemble performances, every student finds her place to shine while learning that great theater happens when individual talents merge into collective magic.
