To summarize this study, we may infer that circumcision is ingrained in our culture and cannot be abolished. And, when we acquire advanced technologies, it will become a component of innovation. The practice is still in place; the only difference is how it is carried out. Thus, the “tuli de pukpok” is on the verge of extinction in Barangay Bagong Silang, Sta.Cruz.
