2.4 Public Survey and Community Meeting

An online public survey was conducted from July 16 to August 2, 2020. There were 2,077 respondents to the survey. There were 11 questions in the survey. The survey included 2 questions that had comment boxes in which people could leave an extended response. The survey results are on the following pages. Questions 9 and 10 were where a longer response was available. The results are show in the form of word search which shows the most common response as larger text to lesser, shown in smaller text.

The Draft Master Plan was presented at an open Community Meeting on December 17, 2020. The meeting was open for public comments. Several attendees make recommendations and expressed concern for certain aspects of the plan. Those comments were incorporated into the Final Master Plan were applicable. These four stakeholder groups as well as input from the community provided an open engagement from varying parties to help form a cohesive and comprehensive Master Plan for Carson Park.
