Landform

• A natural formation or area of land found on the earth such as a continent.

Mountain • A large, tall, rocky area of land that rises up very high.

Mountain Range • A long chain or group of mountains connected.

Hill • A high piece of land similar to a mountain but smaller.

Plain • A large area of flat land.

Valley • An area of low land between mountains or hills.

Island • An area of land completely surrounded by water.

Peninsula • A strip of land that extends out into a body of water

Cave • An opening in the earth, typically in a hill or mountain.
