We will continue to seek other dynasty builders who are erecting not symbolic, but brick and mortar institutions built from scientific systems and mathematic formulas. Dr. Yvonne Lee-Wilson

Body of Christ Deliverance Ministries

Dr. Yvonne Lee-Wilson is the Senior Pastor of the Body of Christ Deliverance Ministries and she has been in ministry for over 36 years. She comes from a strong Apostolic Christian background. The second of nine children, her role models are her mother Elder Louise Lee-Snipes and Aunt Reverend Evy Johnson. Dr. Wilson is a loving wife to Adelbert Wilson for 34 years and mother of three children (one in eternity), eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She retired from Catholic Charities of Chicago after over 30 years of service.

Dr. Wilson believes in ministering to the whole needs of man in order to be effective in the kingdom of God. She has been charged to teach, train and send them out to employ the life-changing application of Kingdom Service. Dr. Wilson represents the church without walls and believes in educating the people in the community. She is passionate about women’s health and children’s wellbeing. Dr. Wilson is the Vice Chair for the Far South Community Action Counsel, a Chaplain for National and Community Service in Chicago and has served on executive boards some of which includes the Neighborhood Housing Service, Pro Life/ Pro-Family Coalition, Women Empowered for Civic Engagement, Gage Park Advisory Board, Gately Advisory Council, 34th Ward Ministerial Alliance, MADD, Arthritis Foundation, Habitat of Chicago and National Association of Professional Women. She is Intercessor for Alderman Carrie Austin. In addition to being a pastor, Dr. Wilson is also an author, Board certified pastoral counselor and Professional Life coach thru AACC American association Christian counseling.

Dr. Wilson has received much recognition from various organizations, community leaders and political figures such as the Lifetime Achievement Award by President Barack Obama in 2016, Authors Promoting Success Award in 2017 and Leadership Award in 2018. Dr. Wilson graduated from Chicago State University and has earned several Doctorates while completing Seminary. Dr. Wilson is a preacher/teacher always willing to serve the community and advance the kingdom of God. Dr. Wilson believes that if it is not written, it’s not said. Her favorite scripture is Isaiah 54:14, No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. She will continue to always give God the glory. Her greatest desire is that souls be healed, delivered and made whole.

Chef Evelyn Shelton

Chef/Owner of Evelyn’s Food Love

Chef Evelyn, as she is popularly known, is the chef/owner of Evelyn’s Food Love in Chicago. There she offers diners her eclectic fusion of culture, training and imagination to make the palate and senses pop with every bite.

Raised in Chicago, Chef Evelyn honed her business and culinary skills as an Executive Chef with the Morrison Division of Compass Group, “…the largest food service management company in the world.”

She is a graduate of Kendall College, one of the top culinary schools in the U.S., where she completed an accelerated culinary arts program while excelling in Kendall’s baking and pastry arts program simultaneously. Well-rounded, Chef Evelyn also holds an undergraduate degree from Columbia College as well as a Master’s degree from Roosevelt University.

Chef Evelyn and her culinary creations have been featured on: ABC 7’s “The Hungry Hound with Steve Dolinsky,” in The Chicago Sun-Times, Patch Chicago, Black Chicago Eats, Eater Chicago, LISC Chicago, The Chicago Defender, on WVON Radio, WBBM Radio, WGN Radio, “Operation Breadbasket presents Harambee” Radio, Heritage Radio’s “A Hungry Society” and Forbes.com. Most recently, Chef Evelyn appeared in Beard Bites (James Beard), South Side Weekly and on ABC 7’s Windy City Live.

Chef Evelyn is a widely sought featured guest, contributor, and panelist by media outlets and various community organizations on various topics including healthy eating; fabulous seasonal recipes and trends; minority business and the importance of community development. An advocate and lover of education, Chef Evelyn has also served as a chef trainer with the Chicago Public Schools. A skilled leader in the kitchen on the large and small scale, she has applied her culinary talents in the roles of food service director and personal chef.

Currently, Chef Evelyn Shelton is writing a cookbook, working on taking her spices, sauces and other fare to the marketplace, and she is looking forward to expanding the Chef Evelyn brand by opening more cafés in other areas around the city that she loves.

The death of a family member is always a distressing time. This is equally so whether death is sudden and unexpected, or whether it was a slow and painful event. Family members are frequently at a loss as to the cause and the circumstances of the death. Many of these deaths occur outside of the hospital, perhaps at home or at a nursing home.

While the Medical Examiner’ås Office occasionally assumes jurisdiction in non-traumatic cases, the Office does not have the manpower to evaluate all of these deaths. Hospital pathologists are often reluctant to perform autopsies on individualswho die in that hospital’s emergency room, or who die at home or at a nursing home if the deceased was not previously a patient at their particular hospital, or if their family physician is not on that hospital’s staff. Family members who sought answers as to the cause of death have had no one to whom to turn.

Our goal is to perform a quality, academically-based autopsy that will inventory all of the pathologic findings which existed at the time of death, and will determine why the deceased died and why they died at that particular point in time. Our findings and report will be completely objective. Our task is to answer questions regarding the cause of death and the circumstances which led up to the death, rather than to critique the quality or appropriateness of the medical care rendered to the deceased.

Percy Scott

Entrepreneur, philanthropist and family patriarch Percy Scott is a man on a mission. As a

major player in the nation’s third-largest consumer market, the Chicago-born communications and sales professional has logged nearly 15 years of service in his industries and has engaged

in almost every aspect of the advertising field. Percy’s tenure at the top of the Windy City’s niche marketing forum has been brokered by one constant -- – his ability to understand the importance of connection. His innate ability to connect the right people, ideas, and strategies within a space, resulting in ground-breaking creativity and client growth, is his hallmark.

Growing up in Robbins, IL with parents who met at the lighthouse for the blind and expe-

riencing his father leaving by his 5th birthday was not easy. His mother was not able to physically show him many things

because she could not see, but what she could give him was a vision and a passion to work hard and become a contributing part of the community. As a standout student athlete at Chicago’s Richards High School, Percy beat the odds and received

a football scholarship to Illinois State University in 1993. Upon completion he began his career at State Farm as a fire claims representative while playing professional football in the Arena League in Bloomington.

Following the infamous September 11, 2001 tragedy. Percy moved back to Chicago to be closer to family and worked with

a few marketing companies, then joined Clear Cannel as an account executive. After becoming continuously recognized as

Clear Channel’s #1 account executive for new business at WGCI, V103 and AM1390, Percy turned his talents to entrepreneurship. In 2012 he established Global 360 Marketing Inc, a dynamic full-service media agency overlooking the Chicago River in the sparkling new River Point Towers, one of the city’s most popular and toniest business high rises. Global 360 services include: Digital Marketing & Optimization, Media Planning and Placement, Audio/Visual Production and Cinematography, Lead

Generation, Web/Mobile/Graphic Design, Public Relations, Event Planning and Talent Integration. Over the past six years the boutique firm, which has an established reputation for providing superior marketing services due the acumen of its seasoned

Jerline Lambert was born in West Helena, Arkansas. Adopted by a loving couple when she was ten months old, she grew up in an environment that nurtured her natural skills and interest. She excelled at Lincoln High School and completed her formal education in Chicago where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northeastern University. Ms. Lambert also received various other certifications including: a State Residential Certificate for Real Estate Appraisal from Howard University; a Real Estate Managers Certificate from the University of Chicago.

In 1968, Ms Lambert became a real estate broker and opened Lambert’s Realty, serving as President and CEO, She became the first African-American woman to be certified as a real estate property manager in Chicago. Ms. Lambert oversees a staff of twenty which includes three of her children and two grandchildren. “Lambert’s Realty” is celebrating its 50th Year Anniversary and it is truly a family affair.

Ms. Lambert’s accomplishments include: Appointment by the National Association of Realtors to work as a federal district coordinator for Illinois Congressman Danny Davis, bringing to his attention various housing related issues throughout the state; Appointed by former Illinois governor Jim Edgar to serve as a member of the Governor’s Commission on Mortgage Practices.

Ms. Lambert has also been involved in many community organizations and has been the recipient of numerous awards. She is President Emeritus of the Chicago Chapter of Africare, past president of the Dearborn Real Estate-Board of Realtist, and First Vice-President of the Midwest Community Council. Ms. Lambert has served on the National Board of Operations Push and received the Rainbow/Push Women Business Achievement Award.

Based on the Southside of Chicago since 1988, Dr. Yetta L. McCullom is a board certified periodontist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of gum disease.

Dr. McCullom comes from a family of accomplished dentists, with her father and brother both having worked in the field, and her great uncle being the first licensed dentist in the Virgin Islands. Following in their footsteps, Dr. McCullom graduated from Howard University in 1983 with a degree in Biology, and proceeded to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University’s College of Dentistry in 1985. As a 2nd generation graduate from a historically black college, Dr. McCullom is proud to have the legacy continue on with her youngest daughter now attending Howard University as a 3rd generation undergraduate.

After deciding to professionally concentrate in periodontics, Dr. McCullom went on to be the first and only African American woman to be accepted into and complete the Master of Science program at (the now closed) Northwestern University Dental School, with a Certificate of Periodontics in 1990. Since then, Dr. McCullom has been diligent in advancing her education in the field of periodontics, while aiming to implement the latest periodontal practices and procedures for her patients.

Along with taking credits at the esteemed Misch Implant Institute and the Dawson Center for Dental Education, Dr. McCullom has also served as an instructor at the Institute of Advanced Laser Dentistry. As an instructor, Dr. McCullom has been able to further understand the application of laser treatment more thoroughly, while fulfilling her passion of teaching dentists how to best treat periodontal diseases. As an impressed and supportive advocate for laser therapy, Dr. McCullom has incorporated LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) as a treatment of her patients’ periodontal medical needs. LANAP has comparably done for dentistry what Lasik has done for eye care.

In her shared practice, The Dental Dream Team, Dr. McCullom focuses on performing minimally invasive procedures like LANAP and Chao’s Pinhole Surgical Technique for gum recession. A board certified physician, Tanya is most known as the founder and creator of Batter & Berries restaurant in Chicago. Born and raised in Chicago, Tanya attended Kenwood High school, the University of Illinois Champaign, and the University of Illinois Chicago for medical school.

Although she has excelled as a physician, Tanya always had a strong entrepreneurial spirit. She was raised in an entrepreneurial family and she is always looking to turn an idea into a business.
