SITE The plan of the outer structure of the building was given as a part of the assignment while the landscaping and interiors were designed.

DESIGN The concept used here is Earthy textures so the name ‘Earthen’

CONCEPT- EARTHEN It is known that being in nature, or even viewing scenes of nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress. Nowadays we have forgotten our ways with nature disconnecting more every day, hence this concept not only soothes the space but also raises awareness of the importance of nature while practicing traditional techniques of healing with the use of nature exposure. It not only makes one feel better emotionally, it contributes for physical well-being, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones. What better concept to bring to such an environment that is meant to heal people. It indirectly and directly encourages people to have a little nature of their own in their personal homes and spaces which in turn improves health and immunity in the longer run while also helping the ecosystem.

The reception and waiting area are designed with natural tones of wood, stone with indoor plants that are nonirritant such as palm, tulsi etc with wood textured drop down false ceiling and coated walls that are easy to maintain. The entrance creates an emphasis and sets the tone of the concept in the viewer for the rest of the space and is a statement to the institution and concept
