We had this GUT FEELING, That we were onto

SOMETHING. SOMETHING.

The campus we left behind last summer? TOTALLY DIFFERENT. New buildings were RISING from the grounds, A new athletic field WELCOMED our athletes and fans back home.

WE WERE EXCITED. But it was more than a BIGGER campus...

OUR… GOALS DREAMS

They just kept GROWING and and GROWING. We set out high expectations for the year to come...

WE PLACED FIRST AT STATES.

Girls Volleyball won for the first time in program history, and Boys Soccer claimed back-to-back state championships.

WE DOMINATED IN COMPETITIONS.

Seniors Mateo Lowe and Avery Simon were named Best Delegates at the UVA Model UN Conference. Junior Neelesh Pandey claimed his spot at the International Science and Engineering Fair. Junior Olivia Bueno earned a Gold Key and a spot at the national competition for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

Dusek and Gouchee were completing a photography “scavenger hunt” assignment in their Principles of Journalism Class. “It was fun walking around the school trying to find all of the different photos that we needed to take,” Dusek said.

On Feb. 12, the boys lacrosse team had their opening game on the new field. “It felt good to be back playing again with my teammates and to win our first game because it helped us gain a positive mentality for the rest of the season,” Merciano said.

EXPLORING CLASSES, sophomores Sydney Brown and Isabella Vega look at course options at the Digital Mass Media booth, at the first-ever Course Expo on Dec 15. During the exposition, different booths were set up for students to explore classes they can next year. “I liked being able to learn more about classes I will be taking, and getting to explore new classes I am interested in,” Brown said.

All spring sports were announced and the teams walked out to celebrate the start of their seasons. “As we walked out my friends encouraged me to dance. It was fun being hyped up with my friends and seeing everybody excited,” Mbadiwe said.

WALKING OUT, on May 10, seniors leave the building on their last day. They had now completed their final exams and picked up their caps and gowns and yearbook at Senior Sendoff. Saying goodbyes, seniors walked off campus ready for their next chapter.
