Registration Information Registrations Registration can be done online, in person or by phone. Credit Card payment is required at time of registration online and by phone. Credit card, debit and cash is accepted for registrations done in person.

Waiting List If a program has reached its maximum number of registrants, express your interest by adding your name to the waiting list. If a space becomes available or an additional class is added due to the demand you will be notified.

Withdrawals If you withdraw from a class a minimum of 7 days before the start date, a $10 cancellation fee, per registration will be applied to your refund or credit.

No refund or credit will be issued if the withdrawal occurs less than 7 days from the start date or after a program starts except for medical reasons (physician’s note required). Withdrawal from a program for medical reasons after the program has started will be effective from the date of the note and a refund will be provided for remaining classes in the program.

Cancellations All classes are subject to cancellation if there are insufficient registrations. Registrants will be notified a soon as a decision has been made to cancel a class. In the case that the field house cancels a class you will receive a full refund or you may transfer to another class if space permits.

*Please note that all classes, programs and offerings are dependant on Provincial restrictions and are subject to change at any time. Refunds will be offered in the event of any closures or cancellations.

Your pint-sized sports enthusiast will be kept moving as they are introduced to a new sporting activity each day. Basketball, soccer, floor hockey, T-ball, lacrosse, racket sports and more will be played. Focus will be on improving gross motor skills, cooperation, team work, being active and having a blast!

This hands on camp will have little ones creating tasty lunch, snack and dessert recipes that they will be so proud to bring home ! Recipes for each item will be provided so they can be made at home. July 12th - 16th – Afternoons Bike Buddies 1pm - 4pm Biking is a lifelong activity so get your little one into it early! Children will gain confidence in their biking abilities as they learn some new biking skills, discuss safety and biking rules in a safe fun environment. Let’s put some miles on those bikes this Summer! Training wheels are permitted and a CSA approved helmet is required. Group games, outdoor activities, crafts, water day Wednesday and Freezie Friday will add to the fun. Children must be toilet trained.

Start the summer off enjoying some of the best Summer Olympic Sports! Track & Field, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Badminton and Table Tennis are a few of the sports kids will play.

This recreational skill- based basketball camp will use drills and scrimmages to teach passing, shooting, rebounding, dribbling, post moves and defensive strategies. Spend the week making recipes based on our favorite Canadian ingredients. Kids will make Poutine, maple taffy, beef sliders, bannock, Saskatoon berry crisp, beaver tails, tourtiere, butter tarts, garlic fingers with donair sauce, timbits and ketchup chip popcorn. Registration and Camp Information Summer 2021 GENERAL CAMP INFORMATION / PRE AND POST CAMP Regular camp hours are 9:00 am-4: 00 pm. In order to accommodate a slightly earlier drop off and pick up time for parents we will allow children to be dropped off as early as 8:00 am and picked up as late as 5:00 pm. Even though there is no cost for an earlier drop off/pick up we require children to be pre-registered to ensure proper staffing/child ratios. Children picked up later than 5:00 pm will incur a $1.00/minute late fee.

SUNSCREEN POLICY Families should put sunscreen on their children before they arrive at camp. Children may spend time outside for activities, snacks or after care and should have appropriate sun protection. Please put extra sunscreen in your child’s backpack for use during the day. Approximately every 3 hours, at lunchtime and at the beginning of after care, we will reapply spray sunscreens provided by the families to children from the neck down. For the safety of staff and children day camp staff will not use their hands to apply cream sunscreen to children. Since spray sunscreen cannot be applied to the face, students should bring a sunhat or learn how to use apply sunscreen to their face by themselves. All sunscreen should be clearly marked with the child’s name.

CONSENT/WAIVER FORMS An informed consent and emergency contact form must be filled out online and submitted electronically through our website. Children who do not have a signed form on file are not permitted to attend day camp programs. These forms are only required to be filled out once for the 2021 Summer Day Camp season and will be kept on file. Forms can be accessed under the Summer Day Camps tab located on the front page of our website.

WHAT TO BRING Please provide a backpack for your child to carry their belongings in and clearly label items with your child name. Lost and Found items will be put in a box at the door of the field for a month and then donated.

All camp options include inside and outside time, games and creative activities. Please dress appropriately for all weather conditions.

Clean indoor running shoes (no sandals/flip flops)

Bathing suit and towel required every Wednesday

Sunscreen and hat (children will be required to wear a hat when outdoors)

Lunch, Snacks (nut free) and refillable drink container (filled at home please) (clearly marked with your child’s name)

Items Containing Nut Products. We strive to provide a nut-free camp environment. When packing snacks and lunches please ensure they are nut-free for the safety of all participants.

No Money. No purchases will be allowed from vending machines or concession during camp hours.

CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS/AIDES All children are welcome and encouraged to participate in our day camp programs and we strive to provide an environment that will enhance community inclusion while creating awareness and acceptance of different abilities.

Please note: children requiring an aide at school must have an aide during camps. Coordination is the responsibility of the family. Aides must be ready to take an active role with your child in all activities.
