Selling 130 Fall Angus Yearling Bulls, 35 Coming 2-Year-Old Bulls and 10 “Elite” Spring Yearlings SEMEN INTEREST: Joseph Angus Ranch will retain 1/3 semen interest on all bulls.
SALE DATE & TIME: Monday, January 23, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. (CST) SALE LOCATION: Valentine Livestock Auction, 126 North Government Street, Valentine, NE. VLA office phone number: (402) 376-3611.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: Payment is due in full on sale day unless prior arrangements have been made with owner. All cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions as adopted by the American Angus Association. Consumers requesting registration papers transferred need to notify JAR upon settlement on sale day. JAR will assist with the necessary paperwork.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: All announcements made from the auction block on sale day take precedence over any written material.
LUNCH: Complimentary lunch at the Sale Barn Cafe.
DELIVERY: All bulls will be delivered free of charge within 500 miles, at cost beyond 500 miles. Bulls will be delivered mid- March.
INSPECTION: Cattle may be inspected at any time prior to the sale at JAR south of Carter, SD. Located from Valentine, NE: 10 miles east on NE Hwy. 12, 11 miles north on Hidden Timber, 8.9 miles east and 8 miles north. Inspection of the bulls may be viewed at the VLA on January 21 and 22 before the sale.
GUARANTEE: All bulls selling can be covered under the 90 day breeding guarantee. All injured bulls must be declared by September 1, 2017. All injured bulls will be picked up or delivered to Valentine, NE and credit will be the purchase price of the bull. The buyer also has the option of purchasing insurance (available sale day) from Martin-Trudeau. The policy is for 365 days (not 90) and JAR will pay 50% of the premium. All credits awarded are not transferable and will be applied towards purchases in the next JAR production sale under the discretion of Roger Joseph. Bulls may not be guaranteed if inhumane practices are present.
