This Souvenir Programme was published at the end of season 1983-84 which saw the club of Mqabba win the Second Division Championship gaining promotion to the First Division. At this stage the club had gone unbeaten for 26 matches.
The following year Mqabba extended their unbeaten run to an all-time local record of 40 matches as they won a second promotion in a row and gained access to the Premier Division for the first time in club history.
