Enjoy an evening of holiday movie-themed trivia! We’ll have a festive time with questions covering classics, modern films, and animated favorites! You can play from the comfort of your own home. Larry Martin’s World War II: In Their Own Words An Interview with Werner Klemm, Pearl Harbor Survivor Wednesday, November 11 6:30-8 pm | Adults (18+)

World War II documentarian Larry Martin will present a screening of his interview with Werner Klemm. Klemm was stationed aboard the USS Dobbin, a destroyer tender about 200 yards behind the USS Arizona on the “Day of Infamy” - the day Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese Imperial Navy. Larry’s interest in World War II history and his passion for both gathering and sharing the stories of the men and women of the war has sparked the creation of the In Their Own Words project. According to Martin, “the program’s goal is to educate further generations on this fascinating and unique history of World War II, as well as to foster an appreciation for the hardships endured by all war veterans so that we may all live in a free country.” This event will be held live on the Zoom platform. American Heritage Roundtable Show & Tell Monday

The Met: Celebrating 150 Years

Ready to travel the world? During this fun and informative session, you’ll learn all about countries from around the world. For our November session we will visit Costa Rica. In December, join us for a trip to Germany! Craft, activity, and recipe resources will be provided so you can experience a little bit of each country from home. We’re celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Metropolitan Museum of Art with a virtual tour! We’ll explore 360° views of various spaces throughout the museum and learn about the art on display. Registration is required.
