Monday, March 8 4:30-5:15 pm | Ages 6-11 Do you love to build and design? Let your imagination soar in Lego™ Squad, where you will be challenged and have your engineering skills put to the test! You will also get to show off your innovative designs and discuss building strategies with a group of creative peers. Registration is required. Tuesday, March 9 10:30-11:30 am | Adults 18+ Join one of our longest-running book clubs for a morning of book discussion and fellowship. This month’s book selection is Soldier Girls by Helen Thorpe. Make a Scene Challenge March 1-10 | All Ages

Create a Mario-themed scene using blocks, Legos™, cardboard boxes, Perler Beads, stop motion animation, or any other medium of your choosing – the choice is yours! Email your scene to programming@mphpl.org by Sunday, March 7. Challenge Details: Entries will be posted on our Facebook page and voting will be held March 8-March 10. The entry with the most votes will be declared the winner on Thursday, March 11 and the winner will receive a Mario-themed prize basket.

Escape Room

Wednesday, March 10 All Day | All Ages Can you defeat Bowser and save the Princess? The only way to find out is by working your way through a variety of puzzles and challenges in our virtual escape room. The link to the Escape Room will be posted on the library’s website and Facebook at 9 am on Wednesday, March 10.


American Heritage Roundtable Thursday, March 11 6:30-7:30 pm | Adults 18+

Learn about important moments and figures in area history. This month we welcome Brian Dentino who will be discussing military glider development and implementation in World War II. Registration is required.

Super Mario™ DIYs

4:30-5:15 pm | Ages 6+ During this session, we will walk you through how to create a Mario paper puppet, a 3-D Question Block box, and an edible marshmallow Toadstool. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe™ Online Tournament 6:30-7:30 pm | Ages 8+

Think you have what it takes to leave your fellow racers in the dust as you conquer Rainbow Road? Then join us for this night of Mario Kart™ where you’ll get to test out those skills during multiple races. Children ages 8+, teens, and adults are welcome to join! Space is limited. The Great American Road Trip: Indiana Cave Trail Monday, March 15 4:30-5 pm | Ages 4-8

Buckle your seatbelts and get ready to travel around the United States! From the east coast to the west coast, we’ll discover some of the most fun and interesting places to visit right here in the USA and do a craft together before hitting the road for our next destination. This month, we’ll be visiting the Indiana Cave Trail—only a few hours from home! Registration is required. Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring! Tuesday, March 16 10:15-11 am | Ages 3-7

Camp Half-Blood Book Club Tuesday, March 16 6-7 pm | Teens (Grades 6-8)

Are you a fan of the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan? Join us for a new monthly book discussion. We’ll begin by discussing The Lightning Thief and each month we will do a book related activity.
