Books & Babies combines books, short rhymes, songs, fingerplays and movement activities to introduce children to the wonder of language. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Toddler Time is a program in which books, story-related activities and take-home crafts provide an enjoyable group experience. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Preschool Pals uses books, storyrelated activities and take-home crafts to increase early literacy skills and kindergarten readiness. Children are encouraged to interact socially with other children and attend sessions independently. Caregivers must remain in the library.

Holiday Ornament Walk-In Craft

This month, speakers Dan Dosmann and David Eisen will present The WPA and Mishawaka Schools. Dan is an active volunteer with the Mishawaka Historical Museum, and David is the former director of the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library. Join us as we learn about the impact that public works had on Mishawaka's schools, such as updating and even building new buildings for Mishawaka's youth. Some of these projects are still with us still today. No registration required.
