Making Music Together 7/8th grade band's final piece, Christmas Feast, featured Mid-Prairie teachers playing along side students in the band. Thank you Sarah Aldrich-Rietz (6th grade science, drumset), Norman Brooks (5th grade band/homeschool band, sousaphone), Becky Curtis (retired MPMS band director, alto sax), Dave Kunz (HS band, clarinet), Luetta Ropp (MS choir/general music, piano), and Rachel Steffen (MS Language Arts, clarinet) for joining us!

High School Band Uniforms

On Friday, November 9th Mid-Prairie students attended RVC Honor Band at Regina. We are so proud to have Mid-Prairie represented well!

Thanks to a grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation we are closer to reaching our $35,000 goal to purchase new high school band uniforms!

We are still $10,000 away from reaching our goal. I would like to ask that you, as the parents of current and future students in the MidPrairie High School band program, consider making a donation to help with the cost of purchasing new uniforms. Any amount would be appreciated by the MP Fine Arts Boosters, the students in the band program, and myself. All students in the Mid-Prairie High School band program will wear the uniforms, not just the marching band students.
