St Kilda Football Club and Frankston & District Junior Football League continue their growing partnership in the community football space for season2023.
BasedoutofthesoontoreopenHealthyFutures HubinSeaford,theStKacademyplayersstarted their programs in February with some Come & Try sessions for new players and existing squad membertestingdays.InearlyMarch,theStKilda talent staff finalised the 6 squads with the inaugural Under 13 Girls excitedly coming togetherundernewcoachEllieDash.
The academy program provides an opportunity for registered players of FDFJL to access high levelcoachingcontentviaStKildaFootballClub delivered by trained community & club coaches under the guidance of Director of Coaching, Paddy Swayn. Players have access to online coaching and welfare resources as well under the guidance of the StK High Performance staff with respect to age-appropriate physical conditioning.
This season squad members participated in a 12 week program culminating with their elevation intotheAFLSEJuniorChampionships.
FDJFL will field teams in Div 1 & 2 Under 13 Boys, Div1&2U14Boys&Girls,Div1&2Under15Boys, Div 1 & 2 Under 16 Girls, Div 1 Under 16 Boys, Div 1 Under17BoysandDiv1Under18Girlsagegroups.
A fantastic opportunity for players to showcase their learnings and skills against their peers whilst honouring the great traditions of FDJFL representativefootball.
