This project aims to construct the infrastructure necessary to provide clean, safe water to schools. This fits in with the following UN MDGs: 1. To achieve universal primary education 2. Combat HIV/AIDs, Malaria and other diseases It also assists with the aim of providing ‘Sanitation and water for all’. It fits with Kenya Vision 2030 which hopes that all institutions will have water. By improving help and removing distractions from students education this project assists with long term development in two key ways. Firstly through heath it enables people to be active agents and contributors to their communities and further afield causing social, cultural, environmental, political What is the wider goal? and economic development.
