Moving Mountains Kenya Social Welfare Policy Moving Mountains Kenya requests that all sponsored beneficiaries read and understand the principles by which we operate, and that they and their parents or guardians agree to the conditions. Circumstances taken into account for support from Moving Mountains
The parent or guardian income in relation to the family expenditure and poverty level and their background
Young mother who is in a young family situation (e.g. cases of teenage pregnancy)
Support will be given to a guardian /Parent who has a medical condition that can’t allow them to work at all.
Orphan staying alone and in college or school
Good will of the guardian towards an orphan and especially providing the child with shelter
The guardian being in old age and looking after a sponsored orphan
The guardian income in relation to the family poverty level also number of dependants living under same roof.
Students Responsibilities The student is expected to uphold a great level of discipline in and out of school for the support to continue
Students must work together with others sponsored especial in school holidays when MM organises meetings and lectures for them.
After college and one is working a grace period of 3 months given then one can now support his / her own family
Parents or Guardians Responsibilities Participate fully in their children’s future and co-operate with MM in relation to housing and integrity with finances
If able work and support the family one is ready to inform the charity for the support to be extended to another needy family.
Look after the orphans with their safety, health and care well catered for by them
