This screening showcases nine award-winning short films, highlighting the rich creativity and technical talent of Hong Kong animators. A pair of childhood sweethearts see through the absurdity of daily life in The Nonsense Play; a bullied student looks forward to a brighter tomorrow in Frangipani; and another character chases their dreams by riding on The Light Chaser. A beautiful boss is fiercely pursued by a handsome engineer in Miss Yuen's Diary The Animation, while a hat maker develops a deep infatuation with a stage actor in The Obsession. Instead of taking temporary gigs in Dough Can…, We Will Rob You offers a different path to repay student debt. Finally, as a BROC! unfolds in a zombie apocalypse, only ROBOY - SURROUND SOUND can bring peace and solace to humanity. 加拿大奇幻電影節
