WELCOME

Sunshine. Spielberg. Star Wars. And so

The legendary filmmaker who invented the summer event movie is back with a sci-fi spectacle steeped in secrecy. All will be revealed on Disclosure Day. But first, it’s probably the most stylish sequel ever made. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt are back for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Disney and Pixar are also out to prove some things never go out of style with a new chapter of Toy Story, where playtime might officially be over as Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the gang face a techtakeover. Another toy-box titan rises as Masters Of The Universe brings He-Man back to the big screen for fans new and old, and video game icons come to life for another round of brutality in Mortal Kombat II. The Mandalorian and Grogu blast into cinemas with a throwback adventure that proves Star Wars belongs on the big screen, while Milly Alcock soars as Supergirl. Is it silly season already? The Sheep Detectives wraps a baa-rilliant cast in a woolly whodunnit, a new Scary Movie skewers all of your favourite horrors, and the Jackass crew reunite for a final dose of dumb fun. That’s all before everyone’s favourite little yellow mischiefmakers make their comeback in Minions & Monsters. It’s all dangerously entertaining cinema. Don’t try this at home!

pairing some of Britain’s finest –Josh O’Connor, Emily Blunt, and Colin Firth – with Irish star Eve Hewson and top-tier American talent Wyatt Russell and Colman Domingo.

With crop circles emerging, UFO sightings in the skies, alien voices bleeding through the airwaves, and animals behaving in ways no science can explain, the questions are mounting in what’s poised to be a modern sci-fi classic. Be in your seat for Disclosure Day.

ECHOES OF THE PAST

It’s no secret that sci-fi cinema owes most of its success to the influence of Steven Spielberg and screenwriter David Koepp. Almost fifty years after he first looked at the stars, Spielberg reignites the partnership for an all-new original science-fiction epic. Their collaboration began in the nineties with Jurassic Park, a film that reshaped blockbuster storytelling. After its roaring success, they returned for The Lost World, then followed with War Of The Worlds and Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystall Skull in the 2000s. Now, for the first time since, Spielberg and Koepp join forces once more on a project said to be a spiritual successor to Close

Directors McKenna Harris, Andrew Stanton / Starring Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack / Genre Animation, Adventure, Family

Pixar returns to play at a moment when childhood itself is shifting. Bonnie, who inherited the toys from Andy, is growing up fast as digital distractions turf out traditional play. The whole toy box is under threat by Lilypad, a smart tablet voiced by Greta Lee, whose arrival sparks an unsettling existential question: what happens when you’re no longer the first thing a child reaches for?

Written and directed by franchise co-creator Andrew Stanton, the new chapter in the nostalgic saga delivers a fresh tale of belonging, purpose, and connection.

Pixar’s rounding up the beloved voice cast for a mighty reunion. Tom Hanks returns as Woody, but there’s a new sheriff in town as Joan Cusack’s Jessie takes charge. Tim Allen is back as Buzz, launching into a new identity crisis thanks to a swarm of Star Command clones. Tony Hale’s Forky is still questioning his existence, too, but also a new potential romance.

Lilypad

Shaking up the toy box is a sleek, frog-shaped smart tablet voiced by Greta Lee. She’s the embodiment of digital play and instant gratification, challenging the old toys’ place in Bonnie’s heart – and her hands. How powerful is her coding? Enough to be capable of controlling toys, too?!

Despite some big, grown-up themes at its heart, this fifth Toy Story still comes with warmth and wit included to guarantee fun for all the family.

Joining the chaos is talking toilet roll, Smarty Pants. An interactive, quiz-style potty-training toy voiced by legendary chat-show host and comedian Conan O’Brien. His sharp wit adds a jolt of comedy as old-school and new-school play styles collide. It’s not his first toy story either! After voicing The Riddler in The LEGO Batman Movie, he’s more than ready to stir up trouble for Woody and the gang.

Streep. Hathaway. Blunt. They’re back on fashion’s fiercest battlefield with claws sharp, comedy cutting, and stakes sky-scraping, reminding the world that the 2006 sensation was never just a moment. WORDS CHLOE HOWARD

Despite her shock decision to walk away from the job a million girls would kill for, Miranda’s trusted assistant Andy Sachs – played by Anne Hathaway – is seemingly back at her side. They’ve got history, to put it mildly, but the power dynamic is different.

And if one awkward reunion isn’t enough, Emily Blunt is back. Miranda’s one-time favourite assistant is now a major fashion force, who might just have the ad budget – and influence – to save Runway, or take it.

Expect every scene to strut with the energy of a catwalk: bold, dramatic, and impossible to look away from.

The cast will knock your designer socks off. The iconic trio prove they’re never out of season, Stanley Tucci’s Nigel returns with more razor-sharp sass and wisdom, and Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, and Justin Theroux join the lineup like new looks on a couture runway.

Richard E. Grant, Claire Foy, Jack Genre Comedy, Drama

Withnail & I

Bruce Robinson’s cult-classic comedy is where it all began, unleashing Richard E. Grant onto the world as the gloriously unhinged, out-of-work actor surviving on a cocktail of booze, bravado, and his own razor-edged wit.

There’s nothing quite like the great British period drama. Sweeping romance, stately homes, and a warm sense of nostalgia. Writer-director Peter Glanz has other plans.

Turn back the clock to eighteenthcentury England for a far darker affair in a time of deadly disease, disputed kings, and characters whose morals decay as quickly as their estates.

name. Their once-noble estate is crumbling, their finances are in ruin, and the less said about their social standing, the better. So, they scrub, scheme, and stage a lavish banquet in hope of rewriting their family into the history books. As the theatrics escalate, the façade cracks and their grand ambitions unravel in spectacularly hilarious fashion.

Spice World

A celebrated actor showing up with the Spice Girls was a shock, but like so much of his career, he does his best work from the sidelines, chewing the scenery like he’s at a grand banquet fit for royalty – even the queens of pop.

Can You Ever Forgive Me?

At the centre of this mad world stand Sir Chauncey and Lady Savage, a couple clinging so desperately to their delusions of grandeur that they’re convinced a single dinner with the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire is enough to restore their tarnished

National treasure Richard E. Grant revels in the vanity and chaos as Sir Chauncey Savage, while Claire Foy brings sharp wit as his Lady Savage, a woman holding onto what little she has as it collapses around her.

You’re cordially invited to witness a darkly comic and timely cautionary tale about greed, aspiration, and the absurd lengths people will go to in the pursuit of status. One thing for certain, Savage is a name time won’t forget.

Only recently did he earn his long-overdue Oscar and BAFTA nominations for a return-toroots performance as a boozy, gay best friend to Melissa McCarthy’s Lee Israel – a role that quietly redefined what that archetype could be.
