by Edith Nesbit in her classic 1906 story and where both The Railway Children and The Railway Children Return were filmed onsite. Tours are still held there today.

KING’S CROSS STATION While unsuspecting muggles travel and commute from King’s Cross Station on a daily basis, young witches and wizards access the secret entrance to Platform 9 ¾ and board The Hogwarts Express.

PADDINGTON STATION This station found its fame with Michael Bond’s A Bear Called Paddington, and the rest is history. The family-favourite marmalade-munching bear will return as production on the third adventure begins later this year.

Cards are being played characteristically close to the chest for the latest frightener from writerdirector Jordan Peele, one of the most exciting voices in modern cinema. But half of the fun and fear of his films is in the mystery. MediCinema is a UK charity which builds and runs cinemas inside NHS hospitals. Our cinemas give patients the magical escape and power of a big screen movie, helping them to leave the reality of the wards and their medical conditions behind. And they can visit in their beds, wheelchairs and with medical equipment.

Emerging from the past two years, many more of us understand what it is like to feel isolated, both at work, home, and away from friends and family.

But for hospital patients, it has been really hard.

They have been more isolated on the wards than ever before with few or no visits from loved ones.
