CHAIRMAN'S CHAT Deryk Heywood I would like to welcome and embrace everyone from Ashton & Backwell and ask them to enjoy with us our final league game of the season here at Trungle. What an incredible journey it's been - one that I personally will never forget. With only two games to go we still could win the League, so it will be an exciting week. I would like to personally say a big thankyou to all our fans who have followed and supported us this season - you mean so much to all the players, coaches and Committee. I would also like to thank Laurence Associates and all our very special and supportive sponsors who have shown amazing generosity to the club over the season. The Committee have all worked very hard all season - its not been easy, as there is always something going on at this incredible club, with some volunteers literally working full time on projects - it can certainly take its toll. Let's make sure we give the players an extra special cheer and huge of round of applause when they walk out today on to the Hallowed turf. Please remember: whatever the outcome today and this week, we have already exceeded our expectations in this Western League. Regards, Deryk

MANAGER'S MESSAGE Jake Ash Friday was a fantastic day for the football club. There was a real buzz about the place throughout the day. I said in my notes on Friday I was desperate for us to show a truer reflection of us than in the game at Helston, and I am so proud of the players. I thought they were all exceptional, and showed total faith in the plan and each other. I told them it was a pleasure to watch from the sidelines. Today will be a really tricky test. Ashton & Backwell showed us at their place what a good side they are - and they will come here and chase and graft for everything. But, we are really proud of our home record here and are desperate to sign off at Trungle with another win. We have gone nearly 8 months unbeaten here, so want to make sure we finish properly. Thank you for all your support this season - it’s been brilliant and we hope we can give you one more enjoyable game. Enjoy the game, Jake
