If you are spending more than just a day or two in the Heber Valley or visiting more than once a year, consider purchasing an annual park pass. Many of the trails, reservoirs and open land within Heber Valley and surrounding areas are located in the three state parks: Jordanelle, Wasatch Mountain and Deer Creek. The park pass grants you quick, easy access to mega outdoor recreation.

Nordic Ski like an Olympian
Soldier Hollow, the site of biathlon and Nordic events during the 2002 Winter Olympics, is in Midway at Wasatch Mountain State Park. Take the whole family and learn to Nordic ski on easy trails. If you’re an experienced skier, challenge yourself on the Olympic courses. You can choose from classic or skate skiing and rent gear at the onsite rental center.

The Sheepdog Classic is BAAAAAck. Enjoy the 20th anniversary of the Soldier Hollow Classic Sheepdog Championship & Festival but over Memorial Day weekend (May 24-27) instead of Labor Day this year. Held in Midway, this annual event draws competitors from all over the world as well as more than 13,000 spectators and loyal fans.
