From the Principal…. Hello Mounds View High School Families, It varies from day to day, but for the most part, it appears that spring is just around the corner with warmer, sunnier days in our immediate future. As we close the door on a sensational winter athletics and activities season, we begin to look forward to new opportunities in both the academic and co-curricular arenas. In the February edition of the Mustang Messenger, we introduced our new ReFLECT initiative. Students and staff will soon be engaging in the “trial runs” of this concept. The ReFLECT model is a collaborative effort, conceived by staff and students which will allow students access to teachers for extra assistance during the school day! Students will be able to take/re-take assessments, complete homework, ask questions of teachers, collaborate with one another, or simply catch their collective breath. These “trial runs” will take place on March 2 and March 9 and then we hope to fully implement ReFLECT in the 2016-17 school year. This break should provide our students with a well deserved respite so that they are rested and ready for the final stretch.
