This year is our 40th anniversary of care and support and we couldn’t have supported Queenslanders impacted by Motor Neurone Disease without the support of people like you. Thanks so much for being on this journey with us.
Your kind support has helped us be there to provide information, advice, referrals, equipment, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy, support groups, voice banking and much more. All of these supports and services don’t only help the person diagnosed with MND, but they also assist the families and carers.
MND Queensland started back in 1983 and grew into the organisation it is today thanks to the generosity of our community and the amazing volunteers that have assisted over the years.
In the spring edition of The Cornflower newsletter you’ll read about our new volunteering program. On the reverse of this letter is a note from one of our wonderful volunteers, Jen who shares some inspirational words on why she supports MND Queensland as both a volunteer and a donor.
