THE ARAI DIFFERENCE
WHY ARAI? Arai helmets have been at the forefront of Motorsport for many years, protecting world champions all around the globe at the highest level. Arai have a hand-built motorsport helmet available for every discipline from bambino kart to F1. Chosen by champions Sebastian Vettel [F1], Colin Turkington [BTCC], Gordon Shedden [BTCC & WTC] and Joe Turney [Senior X30], the GP-6 is also the helmet of choice for Daniel Ricciardo, Pierre Gasly, Tom Ingram and many more. The GP6 RC represents the pinnacle of Arai’s craftsmanship, this carbon 8860 accredited helmet takes our team of craftsmen nearly three weeks to hand build. Complete with adjustable and removable cheek pads and an included FHR [Forward Head Restraint] and PED [Performance Enhancing Devise] kit in the box as standard. For the young kart racers, Arai have the CK-6 and SK-6, both come with removable adjustable cheek pads enabling a customised fit for all head sizes. For Rallying and closed cockpit racing the Arai GP-J3 and adaptable GP-5W offer wider apertures and removable sun visor peaks. The GP-5W can be retro fitted with a visor for use in open cockpit racing, both have removable interchangeable thickness cheek pads available. The GP-6S is Arai’s most popular motorsport helmet with track day enthusiasts through to World Champions. The full face helmet is one of the lightest, durable and strongest helmets available whilst maintaining comfort, excellent ventilation and exceptional safety. The GP-6S meets both FIA 8859-2015 and SNELL SA2015 approvals.

The carbon fibre GP-6 RC incorporates the very best Arai technology to meet the FIA 8860-2010 standard. The GP-6 RC is the obvious choice for drivers competing in Formula 1, GP2, FIA GT, WTCC and other classes where the stringent FIA 8860-2010 regulations apply. The state of the art Arai GP-6RC helmet is a stunning example of Arai’s vision and technology made into a real world piece of equipment.

GP-6 PED
Suitable for Motorsport
6 PED comes with a Super Complex Laminate Construction (cLc) outer shell and complies with the FIA 8859-2015 regulations. The clear Performance Enhancing Devices (PED) spoilers offer added stability and resistance against buffeting. The kit also increases the ventilation by directing more air into the ventilation slots at the front and increasing the venturi exhaust effect at the rear.

GP-6S

The successor of the much loved GP-5K model comes with Snell and FIA 8859-2015 approvals. Using the same shell shape as the GP-6 and GP-6RC, the GP-6S offers an affordable price level while still maintaining a host of features and innovations.

GP-J3

The new generation open face helmet. Completely new shell construction with an extended cheek and chin area. Four ventilation ducts and fixed interior provide a tight, yet comfortable customised fit; perfect for closed cockpit car racing. The open face GP-J3 combines great comfort with the essential performance features of our full face helmets.

GP-5W

The GP-5W features an adjustable ‘Hyper T’ peak with integrated sun visor to satisfy the requirements of even the most demanding touring car drivers. Yellow Kevlar® chin strap, fire resistant Nomex® lining material, five ventilation ducts and interchangeable multi-thickness cheek pads are just some of the benefits of this helmet. The PB cLc outer shell comes with a 5mm added chin area space for more comfort.

SK-6
Suitable for Karting
The SK-6 is largely based on the GP-6S, but is specially developed for kart racing, including a smooth compact shell design to minimise drag and buffeting. The cLc outer Shell features extensive ventilation ducts and offers the improved visor system. The interchangeable multi-thickness cheek pads offer a perfect fit.

CK-6
Suitable for Karting
The CK-6 is specially made for junior Kart drivers up to 15-years old and meets the FIA CMR 2016 regulations valid in the CIK-FIA international karting class. The lightweight CK-6 features a smooth, compact SFL outer shell to minimise drag and buffeting whilst the inner shell is specially developed for a perfect fit on a child’s head through the use of interchangeable multi-thickness cheek pads. The CK-6 has four ventilation ducts on top of the helmet plus effective ventilation slots in the chin piece. Larger 90mm visor aperture maximizes peripheral vision. The interchangeable multi-thickness cheek pads allow for a perfect fit.
