WHAT’S ON

Business lunching at… Fouquet’s

Business lunches are elite dining activities. Eating at your favourite restaurants for a fraction of the price… what could be better? I recently tried the deal at Fouquet’s, which is Dhs130 for two courses or Dhs150 for three courses. Against the backdrop of Burj Khalifa, a delicious selection of French dishes is available to try.

Being pampered at… Sofitel Spa with L’Occitane

Sofitel Spa recently asked me to come for a session of pampering. The spa has a huge range of treatments paired with products from Provence, in collaboration with L’Occitane. There are also hammams and a number of pools.

Getting my beach disco on at… Olliedaze

Catching up with a friend at… Americano

Americano seems to be one of those restaurants that is quintessential to the Madinat experience. I recently visited the venue with one of my friends and her parents for an overdue catch up. While there weren’t countless dishes to choose from, the ones that were there stood out. The burrata bruschetta and seabass were especially delicious.

I recently ventured to the shores of Umm Al Quwain to experience the hidden gem that is Olliedaze. The famed beach party event had us basking in the sun and the tropical island waters, before migrating into a boogie with the setting sun. Ollidaze is truly my happy place, and if you’re looking for your next ultimate beach day getaway then this is the spot.
