A major exhibition featuring works by the street artist opens in Dubai

We’ve hit the art jackpot, the art motherlode, the art Shangri-La, and there’s no turning back. Until June 30, Mall of the Emirates will host the world’s largest collection of recreated Banksy art. ‘The World of Banksy - The Immersive Experience’ is devoted to the world-famous street artist, and reveals over 120 works spread

throughout the gallery at The Theatre. The reproductions of graphic murals will enable visitors to rediscover iconic pieces, including Girl with a Balloon, the Flower Thrower, the Mobile Lovers, and many other works by Banksy.

The exhibition is set up on the basis of the geographical distribution of Banksy’s works. The countries covered are the UK, the US, France, Canada, Australia, and Mali.

With very little known about the mysterious street artist, Banksy’s recreated exhibitions are eagerly attended by art lovers across the world keen to learn more about the enigmatic figure. ‘The World of Banksy’ will offer insight into the work, influences and inspiration of the artist, giving local art enthusiasts the opportunity to get up, close and personal with his work.
