Grace and peace to you all, in the name of Jesus Christ, our precious Lord and Savior.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Virginia Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction’s Fifty-Seventh Annual Worker’s Conference. This is my inaugural Worker’s Conference, and I am so excited for this moment in time.
This week, YOU, as believers with great faith have gathered in one place to meet with God, unite as one in fellowship with the Lamb of God, and fulfill the calling as builders of one body, as led by the Spirit of God.
In this remarkably historical inaugural year, our theme, “The Year of Glory,” ignited a conscientious drive to new heights and greater depths. Just as the prophet Haggai encouraged the builders, let us keep this exact sentiment burning in our hearts and minds from God’s Holy Word: “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Haggai 2:9)
I am so godly proud to be your bishop; to serve you with care, to guide you with diligence, and to impart the unadulterated Gospel truth of the cross. But I would not be doing my best if I did not also seek God for the wisdom and strength to push you further into the excellency of your calling. I am committed to this building process; to see to it that there is a spiritual building, growing deep inside this great Jurisdiction. As I look forward to a massive development unlike any other growth spurt we have ever seen before, let us forcefully close the door to sin and doubt; thereby thwarting the efforts of the enemy, who desires nothing more than to delay and destroy the exchange of our will for the righteous will of God. Together, we will press forward. Together, we will experience the magnificence of God’s presence here on earth, and together we will bask in the hope of His eternal favor and glory when this journey is complete.
Friends, this week is designed to strengthen us beyond the weariness of our well doing. This week, we will reach our due season and hold one another up, lest we faint.
Come now and let us bask sufficiently in the glory of God, for the duration of our appointed time together. Besides, I cannot imagine this time of sincere praise, honor, thanksgiving, worship, prayer, and continuous spiritual construction with anyone else but YOU
Yours In Christ – Forever, Jonathan G. Willis
Bishop Jonathan G. Willis Jurisdictional Prelate
What a wonderful joy it is to greet you as the world begins to unfold to another beautiful season of Springtime. As this occurs, we see the splendor of God’s glory in nature. It is a blessing to come together in celebration of our Worker’s Conference.
We praise God that our Bishop has proclaimed this as the “Year of Glory.” Glory is an occasion in which something great is being done! Truly God is doing glorious things in our Jurisdiction. He is blessing us to make His praise glorious. Not only that, but He is enlarging our territories and increasing souls in every church in The New Frontier. In this “Year of Glory," the splendor and magnificence of God is breaking through as souls are being saved, set free, and delivered. Signs, wonders, and miracles are taking place. We can proclaim as the scripture says in Haggai 2:9, “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.” God is using us, the men, and women of the Virginia Third Family to partake of this great move.
As we gather together, to participate in this glorious move of God, we thank Him for our Prelate, Bishop Jonathan G. Willis who has taken the helm of this great Virginia Third Jurisdiction. His life reflects the glory of God, and his works indicate the glory of God is upon him. He leads with humility, dignity, and peace. It is our honor to move forward with this dedicated, prayerful man, as God uses him to bless our Jurisdiction. The mission is complete, and the “Year of Glory" has moved onto the scene!
Please keep our Bishop, his wife, and his family in prayer. Please pray for me, my family and for each other. Remember, “We Progress with Team Effort”.
Bringing Honor to my Father, Sharon Alston–Felder
Mother Sharon Alston-Felder Jurisdictional Supervisor
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I offer a heartfelt “Welcome” to you as we come together. As we assemble, I express my sincerest greetings to all with utmost delight and eagerness. The joy is overwhelming at having the opportunity to come together once again in love and good works, as told in Hebrews 10:24. I pray that you have all come in expectation of a glorious time, as I have, confident in the belief that God has prepared us for such a time as this.
I am filled with thanks to God for my husband, our esteemed leader, Bishop Jonathan G. Willis, whom I affectionately call “Honey Boo-Bishop” (and I do hope that's alright.) Surely, this is the Lord’s doing, and it is truly marvelous in our eyes. Indeed, how good, and how pleasant it is for us to dwell together in unity, as Psalm 133:1 beautifully attests.
Approaching with a profound sense of humility and gratitude, I humbly ask for your prayers. I have earnestly besought God to use me as a captivating voice of sanctity, distinction, and significance at this time. Let us continue to fortify the solid foundation established by our esteemed predecessors, fully embracing our leader’s vision.
I declare that this 57th Worker’s Conference will herald a time of revitalization, provide heavenly insight, and foster solidarity among us. Let’s cherish the opportunity to be in one another’s presence, engage in fellowship, and joyfully worship the God of our salvation. Let's have some CHURCH!
As we congregate under the theme of “The Year of Glory,” inspired by Haggai 2:9, we are encouraged to reflect on the infinite strength and mercy of our Heavenly Father. He empowers us to fulfill our mission and purpose. May the love of Christ forever intertwine our hearts as we persist in the pursuit of our God-given mission.
In the inspiring words of our Chief Apostle, Presiding Bishop J. Drew Sheard, “We have work to do.”
Serving to bring glory to my Father, Felicia
First Lady Felicia E. Willis
The Bishop’s Wife
WELCOME to the Virginia Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction’s Fifty-Seventh Annual Worker’s Conference! I am both excited and honored to greet you with reflections at this blessed and holy time.
When Bishop Levi E. Willis II was present with us, he would look forward to these gatherings to the point he could hardly contain himself. I still carry that same enthusiasm with me and will forever hold the fervor in which he served this great jurisdiction. For as long as I stand as a witness to the continuation of a magnificent work, I do not stand alone. You have been standing with me and my family, and your support has given me a great push to keep on keeping on.
Our great prelate, Bishop Jonathan G. Willis, has designated as this year’s theme, “The Year of Glory”. With this in the forefront of our minds, we are free to focus on the limitless power of God’s Shekinah Glory which will fill us to the overflow in this meeting and beyond. Let us serve and worship together this week with tremendous zeal. Our future is upon us, and I know the mighty hand of God will lead us to our expected end.
With these closing words, I wish I could adequately convey my gratefulness. The extent of your love has overwhelmed me, and I am humbled beyond description. Thank you for loving me so sweetly. I will forever share the love of the Lord with every one of you.

Founder & Lead Pastor | The Temple of Healing Waters
Prelate | The Republic of Korea Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Sterling, Virginia
Bishop Chadwick Fionn Carlton is a pastor, entrepreneur, mentor, husband, and father, who relishes opportunities to engage multi-ethnic cultures seeking to interpret human dynamics, specifically those that enjoin racial antipathy, pathos, and public incivilities that do not undergird social harmony.
Through his church, The Temple of Healing Waters Church of God in Christ, Dulles, Virginia and Suitland, Maryland, Bishop Carlton engages congregants to advance measurable change spiritually and naturally. In November 2019, during the 112th Annual Holy Convocation of the Church of God in Christ, Bishop Carlton was consecrated to the office of Jurisdictional Prelate, the Republic of Korea Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction by Presiding Bishop Charles Edward Blake Sr., with the assistance of members of the General Board.
Bishop Carlton is a scholar and post-secondary educator, earning degrees from the University of Maryland, Bachelor of Arts; St. Thomas University, Master of Science; Wesley Theological Seminary, Master of Theological Studies; Wesley Theological Studies, Doctor of Ministry (D.Min); LaSalle University, Doctor of Theology (Th.D.). He is married to Evangelist M. Darice Carlton and has three children: Dylan, Dru, and Denver.
Pastor John F. Hannah is a husband, pastor, speaker, and author who has impacted thousands of lives through his ministry, prayer, and dedication to service. The foundation for his pastoral passion is rooted in his love for urban youth and teaching others how to grow their relationship with God through prayer. He even began his career as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Chicago’s Cook County and eventually transitioned into serving as a youth pastor at a local church for many years. It was during these times that opportunities developed, leading John to perfect the calling for his destiny as the shepherd of a remarkable organization that would become New Life.
Today, John F. Hannah is the founder and lead pastor of New Life Covenant Church Southeast, a nondenominational, multicultural church on the Southside of Chicago. Presently, the church has grown to more than 20,000 members, including online membership. While the numbers suggest a megachurch sized atmosphere, the spirit of the house and its members promote a family environment, committed to serving God and our Community.

“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Haggai 2:9 KJV
Years I spent in vanity and pride, Caring not my Lord was crucified, Knowing not it was for me He died on Calvary.
Refrain:
Mercy there was great, and grace was free; Pardon there was multiplied to me; There my burdened soul found liberty at Calvary.
By God’s Word at last my sin I learned; Then I trembled at the Law I’d spurned, Till my guilty soul imploring turned to Calvary.
(Refrain)
Oh, the love that drew salvation’s plan!
Oh, the grace that brought it down to man! Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span at Calvary!
(Refrain)
