Morson were awarded the RPO with VPI Power in October 2022 on a two year contract to supply all technical engineering and asset management professionals for 5 CCGT & CHP plants in the UK.
VPI is a UK-based power company, providing energy to the National Grid. They are part of the UK’s pathway to Net Zero, complementing the increase in renewable energy to power homes and businesses.
VPI’s portfolio includes hydrogen and carbon capture projects to help lower emissions and develop a future for decarbonised, dispatchable and flexible generation in the UK
VPI is committed to spending more than £2 billion on supporting energy transition over the next five years.

Morson Projects were appointed as the Principle Design Contractor for a new Waste for Energy Plant in Derby.
Via Morson Projects, we had a team of 60 engineers and modellers working on the project In addition to the model, we had responsibility for Process Verification, Electrical and Instrumentation, Civil and Structural (secondary steelwork) and Pipe Stressing of critical lines. The primary deliverable from Morson Projects was a fully detailed clash-free, fully operable, safe and maintainable 3D Model design in Navisworks.
