MAJOR : ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIZATION: Prepares students for a career in either architectural construction or civil (highway) construction. Students receive hands-on training in: • Surveying • Soils and Materials Testing • Architectural CAD • Civil CAD • Microstation • Building Information Management (BIM) Morrison Tech graduates work for consulting engineers, state or county highway departments, city engineers, surveyors, material-testing labs or other construction-related firms.
COMPUTER AIDED DRAFTING & DESIGN SPECIALIZATION: Focuses on mechanical design, as well as the manufacturing processes. The program emphasizes hands-on application of design, prototyping, and manufacturing processes with the latest technologies. Hands-on experiences include: • CAD software including Solidworks, NX, and the AutoDesk family • Creating functional prototypes using 3D printing and CNC equipment • Product Development Projects Our graduates work for consulting designers, defense contractors or manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, consumer-products, biomedical or other industries.
