Morris Jaime Godur emigrated from Cuba to the United States in 1958. His new beginning took root in St. Louis, Missouri, where he spent 27 years building his personal life and professional foundation. After nearly three decades, he relocated to South Florida, where he has remained. Godur’s career spans over 50 years of experience in real estate and the eyewear industry. Over time, his work touched on manufacturing, designing, retailing, distribution, and inventing, allowing him to contribute to both sectors meaningfully.
Experience in Eyewear In 1995, Morris Godur acquired the Pursole sunglasses brand. His leadership helped the company grow until it was sold to the Luxottica Group, one of the largest eyewear companies in the world. His involvement in the eyewear business gave him firsthand knowledge of managing all product development and distribution stages. The lessons he learned through his eyewear career—ranging from creativity in design to global market expansion—helped shape his approach to future business ventures.
