Morehouse College 2026 Open House Program

Page 1

MESSAGE FROM OUR TEAM Welcome to Morehouse College. It is a joy to have you on our historic campus and to welcome young men who are beginning to imagine their next chapter, along with the families and supporters who help make those dreams possible. Today, you stand on sacred ground. Since our founding in 1867, Morehouse has stood as a national and global leader in the education and development of men of distinction—men prepared to think critically, lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and use their gifts to make a difference in the world. The power of a Morehouse education lies in our challenge for students to pair academic excellence with moral leadership and a deep sense of social responsibility, while nurturing their intellect, identity, and purpose. Education is not only about what you know, but about who you become and how you use what you know to create meaningful impact. During Open House, we invite you to do more than see Morehouse—you will experience it. Meet members of our distinguished faculty, connect with current students, explore our academic programs and student life, and gain insight into admissions and financial aid. Ask questions. Be curious. Imagine what it would feel like to call this campus home. Whether your interests are in business, science, social justice, media, technology, the arts, or another field, you will find a community here that will challenge you, uplift you, and prepare you for purposeful leadership in a global society. Morehouse Men across generations have been catalysts for progress in every field imaginable. The world needs the kind of men Morehouse cultivates: men of disciplined minds, compassionate hearts, strong character, and a commitment to leadership and service. Thank you for spending this day with us and for considering what it might mean to add your story to the Morehouse legacy. We hope that as you walk our grounds, meet our students, and feel the spirit that lives within this place, you begin to see what makes Morehouse not just an institution of higher learning, but a brotherhood and a movement. Welcome to The House,

F. DuBois Bowman. Ph.D. ‘92 13th President of Morehouse College
