Education facilities are the single most occupied non-residential buildings in America. Each and every school day, one third of the world’s population learns or works in a school. On average, US citizens spend one fourth of their lives learning, socializing, and playing in educational environments. Whether at the K-12 or higher education level, going to school is a foundational, formative experience.
