Known as one of the pearls of the Riviera, this former fishing village lies on its own peninsula between Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Villefranche-sur-Mer, and is renowned for lush vegetation and dramatically rocky beaches.

Bandol Onwards to the old fortified town of Bandol in the Var department, one of Provence’s most internationally-recognised wine regions as well as one of its most authentic holiday destinations. The crystal-clear waters and interesting marine life make this a superb spot for diving and snorkelling too, so be sure to get out in the water.

Cassis Cassis gave its name to the sweet dark red blackcurrant liqueur produced here (which makes a mean Kir Royal) and is your next charter stop. Overlooked by the centuries old Chateau de Cassis, it’s best known for its pebbly beaches, turquoise waters and narrow calanque inlets surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs.
