Biomes of the World

Hey everyone! I’m Christopher Chameleon! I’d like to take you around the world and show you all the biomes that I know. Biomes are places all over the Earth that each have different animals, plants, and colors. Come on! Let’s take a look.
Whew! It sure is hot here. This is the desert. It’s known for being one of the hottest and driest biomes out there. I’m turning tan like the desert sand and green like that cactus over there!
Wow, this place is huge! This biome is called the savanna. It’s not as hot and dry as the desert, but it’s just as big! I’m turning red like that big, tall tree over there and black and white like the stripes of that zebra.
Whoa, this place is cool! This is called the rainforest. It’s very hot and humid here because of all the plants keeping in the heat. There’s lots of different shades of green here, so I blend right in. Lot’s of Earth’s animals come from here, including me!
This is the deciduous forest. It is filled with lots of animals and lots of plants! It gets very cold in the winter and warm in the summer. It has all 4 seasons.
This is the Taiga biome. It has long winters and green summers. There are many animals here! It has a lot of trees but not that many flowers.
This biome is called the arctic tundra. It gets very cold in the winter and the mountains have snow all the time! There are very few plants in this biome. It also has few animals.
This is the coldest biome! It is called the Ice cap biome. There is no land here and only ice forms. There are only 3 animals here: seals, polar bears, and penguins.
Yay! That was a lot of fun. Now I know all my biomes, and I hope you do, too. I’ve got to go now. Bye everyone!
