Register for classes and activities online at moragarec.com or in person at Hacienda de las Flores, 2100 Donald Drive, Moraga.
Full payment is due at the time of registration. All major credit cards are accepted. Checks are payable to “Town of Moraga.”
FEE POLICY
Class fees cannot be pro-rated for participants joining after the first class.
EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
Communication regarding classes and activities is sent via email. Please make sure your email address and communication settings are up to date on your online account. Ensure you can receive emails from recdesk@moraga.ca.us.
CANCELLATIONS
Classes/activities may be cancelled due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or instructor availability. If your class/activity is cancelled, you will be notified at least a week prior to the start date. A full refund will be given for cancellation of class/activity.
WITHDRAWAL & TRANSFER POLICY
Planning to withdraw? Don’t wait! You must request your withdrawal at least 14 days before the program starts to qualify for a credit or refund. Please note: a $12 fee per participant, per program applies. Miss the deadline? Unfortunately, no refunds or credits will be given. Also, refunds won’t be issued for missed classes or if you choose not to participate—so plan ahead!
Thinking of switching courses? We can help! Just let us know at least 14 days before the start date, and we’ll process your transfer. However, keep in mind, early bird discounts won’t transfer if the registration period has ended. Any fee differences will need to be settled when transferring.
Why We Do This
We understand that plans change, but in order for our programs to run smoothly, we need ample time to prepare. By finalizing enrollments 14 days in advance, we can ensure that our staff, equipment, and materials are all in place to create the best experience for everyone. Last-minute changes create unexpected challenges that could impact the quality of the program—something we strive to avoid for your benefit.

Rheem Bus Passes*: Bus service will be available if your child attends Rheem Elementary School. The Lamorinda School Bus program will add a bus stop at the Hacienda. Children with an annual bus pass purchased through the school district can use this service at no additional charge.

Rheem Extended Care Program*: The Town understands the need for flexible childcare options. That’s why we provide an optional extended care program for families needing childcare until 5:30 pm each day. Extended care will be conveniently offered onsite at the Hacienda following dismissal from Town ASEP classes. Join us for homework time and more fun! (Minimum 4 students needed per day.)
*Bus and Extended Care options are currently only available at Rheem / Hacienda ASEP. For extended care options at Los Perales or Camino Pablo, please contact the school’s onsite afterschool program.

Soccer Coach Stefan Clemens and staff welcome all to this season’s classes! Learn footwork, balance, coordination, ball mastery, dribbling, passing, and finishing through progressive games: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, and team play (4v4-8v8). Stefan leads the Campo Boys Soccer Program and creates a safe, friendly environment where players develop technical skills, exercise, build relationships, and practice sportsmanship. Most importantly, have fun! Perfect for players ready to learn soccer, grow on and off the field, and be part of a supportive team.
At Camino Pablo, the soccer focus will be indoors in the MUR or on the blacktop with a “futsal” focus. Futsal is one of the most effective tools for developing well-rounded young soccer players. Futsal allows for more touches, narrowing in on technical development, quicker decision-making under pressure, and confidence building through skill and physicality.

Splashball

Designed for boys and girls, ages 5 to 9 years old, with little or no water polo experience. The players will learn the basics of the game while having loads of fun. Splashball is a no-contact program held in a shallow pool and flotation devices are allowed. Students should have basic swim skills: 25 yards free; 25 yards backstroke; 30 seconds tread water.

Be prepared to respond when every second counts. CPR for Life will provide hands-on training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Participants will learn how to recognize a cardiac emergency, activate emergency services, perform effective CPR, and safely operate an AED. This course is open to the public and is a great option for parents, caregivers, teachers, recreation staff, community members, and anyone who wants to feel more confident responding during an emergency. This training is also strongly recommended for current or prospective youth sports coaches and volunteers. Beginning January 1, 2027, California’s AB 310 requires youth sports organizations to ensure their coaches are certified to perform CPR and operate an AED, with recertification required at least every two years. Advance registration is required.

CERT Fall Class Registration in Progress
It’s wildfire season and a great way to prepare for wildfires as well as other disasters is to take the Lamorinda Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class series. We invite residents to register for the Fall class starting September 15, 2026 in Lafayette. The Fall class series will be held Tuesday nights from 9/15-11/10 and from 6:30-9:30pm at the Lafayette Community Center. The subjects covered in the class include: personal and home preparedness for all-hazard emergencies, hazardous materials and fire safety, disaster medical response, light search and rescue, Incident Command System, disaster psychology, terrorism, radio communications and pet preparedness. Lamorinda Spirit Celebrates 20 Years of Service
Volunteer Drivers Needed
In 2026, Lamorinda Spirit proudly celebrates 20 years of providing door-to-door transportation for seniors in Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda.
Since providing its very first ride on June 19, 2006, Lamorinda Spirit has helped older adults maintain their independence by offering transportation to medical appointments, shopping, exercise classes, social activities, volunteer opportunities, and countless other destinations that keep them connected to their community.
As we celebrate this milestone year, we are looking for compassionate volunteer drivers to join our team.
Do you:
• Enjoy driving and meeting new people?
• Want to make a real difference in a senior’s day?
• Have 4-5 hours to spare once a week or every other week?
• Are you between the ages of 25 and 75?
Volunteer drivers use Lamorinda Spirit vehicles to provide safe, friendly transportation for local seniors. Flexible schedules and training are provided.

From the prehistoric age to the present, there is a treasure of events which happened in this very location. Did you know the United Nations may have been in our backyard? Go in depth into Moraga’s history and purchase Moraga’s Pride or Images of America: Moraga from our store. Buy an afghan for a holiday or going-away present. Give a set of notecards as a “thank you” gift, OR visit the Moraga Historical Society booth at the Pear and Wine Festival in late September.

Established in 1970, we are a diverse group with a wide range of talents, ideas and gardening experience. Anyone is welcome to join this like-minded group of friends and share in the efforts to enhance Moraga visually and creatively.

• Nine monthly meetings with expert speakers on myriad topics
• Spring salad luncheon fundraiser with dynamic floral-arranging demonstration and auction
• May garden tour of three members’ gardens
• Opportunities to participate in creating and maintaining visual beauty around Town
• Become versed in seed propagation, water preservation, composting, reforestation and more.
Our general meetings are active September through May with a few year-round exceptions:
• Garden study meets monthly at a member’s home to share gardening joys or issues
• Participation in the maintenance of the Monarch Butterfly teaching habitat at Rancho Laguna park
• Participation in the maintenance of the Perennial Garden at the Hacienda
