Thank you for considering the Mooresville Parks & Recreation Department for your next tournament. We look forward to hosting you in the near future.

This booklet contains information about the tournament facilities we have to offer, facility amenities, tournament rental fees, and more. We invite your organization to request dates that you would like to host events in Mooresville.

Where the Fun Begins!

Tournament Bid Process The open bid process starts on November 1 of each year. Please return your requested tournament dates to the Mooresville Parks & Recreation Department by December 1.

You may hand-deliver them to our office located at 210 Talbert Pointe Drive, Mooresville, NC 28117, or email them to Jacob Morrison at jmorrison@mooresvillenc.gov.

Our tournament committee will review each request and settle any conflicting dates. You will be notified by December 15 which dates you have been awarded for the upcoming calendar year.

There is a $300 deposit due by January 15 for each tournament date awarded to secure the awarded tournament date(s). This deposit will be applied to the tournament fees. Should the tournament be compromised because of weather, other accommodations will be discussed, or the deposit may be refunded.

Please note that proof of liability insurance must be submitted to the Town of Mooresville prior to hosting your first event.

Indoor Tournament Fees

Gate fee - if collecting admissions (per event)=$200 Court fee (per hour/per court)=$60 *20 hour cap Court penalty fee (in the event of host cancellation)=$300 Refundable damage deposit=$100

Outdoor Tournament Fees

There is a fee of $200 per field/per day for tournament reservations on baseball/softball fields and grass soccer fields.

Artificial turf soccer fields may be reserved for $300 per field per day. This fee includes the use of any lights required for the scheduled activity. This fee also includes the commitment that each field will be in playable condition (weather dependent) at the start of each day reserved.

There is a $200 gate fee charged to any renting agency that will charge admission to its event.

There is a permitting process that must be completed and a $50-$150 fee per vendor is charged to any renting agency that will sell merchandise at its event.

There is a $100 fee per event/per field for the usage of temporary fencing.
