MOOR END ACADEMY WELCOME TO

At Moor End Academy, we are committed to delivering an outstanding education to all our students so we can say, with confidence, “we gave every student his or her GCSE passport to success”.

As the Executive Principal of three academies, I’m passionate about the belief that all individuals need to feel valued and encouraged and I have a deep-seated belief that all children deserve an excellent education regardless of what school they attend. I firmly believe that positive relationships and a culture of mutual respect should be at the core of what we do every day, along with high quality teaching and pastoral care.

Our ambition will always focus on providing a school environment with a strong ethos, and a culture of high expectations to create a stimulating, ambitious and caring environment to enable our students to thrive and achieve their full potential. To me, it’s essential that all members of our school community put in the time and energy to bring our vision to life. It’s important that everyone who steps through our doors - staff, students and parents - are excited to be here and understand that everything we do is underpinned by our three core values of ‘Respect,Ambition and Responsibility’.

Kash Rafiq Executive Principal

Moor End Academy is a very special place to learn and to work, and it’s a school that we are all incredibly proud of. Our core values of respect, ambition, and responsibility underpin everything that we do; this means that students at Moor End are supported and encouraged to realise their full potential - and go on to achieve amazing things as the leaders of tomorrow.

You’ll feel our strong culture and ethos from the moment you enter the building, and our ‘World Class’ vision is evident in classrooms, on corridors, and during social times. It is our relentless drive to continue to ‘be the best’ which ensures our students are able to learn in a calm and purposeful environment, with highly-skilled staff who are passionate about providing them with their ‘passport to success’.

Our students leave us not only well-qualified, but also fully-equipped to become responsible, respectful, and active citizens; this means Moor End students are able to play an active role in society, and understand their rights and responsibilities within this. A wide range of enriching experiences enhances our core curriculum, and students at Moor End engage with all aspects of school life.

We hope that this prospectus gives you an insight into our exceptional ‘World Class’ and high performing academy and we look forward to supporting your child to reach their full potential.
