Children begin to understand themselves, their likes, dislikes, and their emotions. They develop friendships, begin to collaborate with others, and develop an understanding of the feelings of others, as they begin to explore the world around them. Children develop emotional literacy by labeling emotions as they experience them. The ability to label emotions, helps to soften negative emotions and find positive emotions. This set and activities has been developed to support children’s wellbeing by developing social and emotional skills in a playful, respectful way.
