After the busy weeks at school, adjusting after the summer break, every family member will be ready for a well-earned rest and some fun! To keep everyone happy, we’ve rounded up some family friendly activities, inside and out, to ensure you’re not short of ideas this half term!

Time to celebrate - Brio Entertainment is back with some wonderful shows!

Brio Entertainment have opened their doors again to audiences after being closed due to Covid-19. Having kicked off their autumn/winter season, Brio will be host to a variety of exciting shows and pantomimes and there is something for everyone to enjoy! Located in two venues across Cheshire West and Chester at Northwich Memorial Court and Ellesmere Port Civic Hall, you can enjoy family shows, live music, theatre and much more! At Northwich Memorial Court, you can watch a timeless classic for all the family, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show on 13th November at 1pm & 3pm. Fans of The Beatles can be wowed by the world’s favourite Liverpool born tribute band, The Mersey Beatles on 5th November at 7:30pm. At Ellesmere Port Civic Hall, catch some comedy with Manford’s Comedy Club on 22nd October at 8pm. With a fantastic line-up, this is a show you don’t want to miss! Chester lights up the skies in spectacular style

The Lord Mayor’s Fireworks Extravaganza is making a return to Chester Racecourse on Saturday 6th November. The Racecourse’s display is renowned for being one of the best in the area and will also be host to a number of fun activities for the whole family. With a firework display for adults and children, Chester Racecourse is the number one place to be for Bonfire Night. Tickets are £5 when booked in advance or £6 on the day.
